Redesain Pacal Reservoir Park di Bojonegoro dengan pendekatan extending tradition

Salah satu ikon wisata sejarah di Bojonegoro adalah Waduk Pacal,tujuan dari redesain ini yaitu untuk kembali menghidupkan waduk pacal, menghasilkan sarana wisata alam, wisata sejarah dan wisata budaya bagi masyarakat Bojonegoro dan sekitarnya, serta dapat menjadi sarana perekonomian masyarakat Desa Kedungsumber. Metode desain yang digunakan adalah metode linear dengan pendekatan Extending Tradition oleh Tan Hock Beng dengan mengutip prinsip desain Kengo Kuma dalam bangunannya Noh Stage In The Forest. Mengextendingkan Rumah Adat Malo sebagai tradisi arsitektur Bojonegoro, dengan konsep Renew of Malo Traditional House, yang bermaksud untuk Kembali menghadirkan tradisi arsitektural Rumah Adat Malo ke dalam pacal Reservoir park. Redesain ini kemudian menghasilkan sarana pertunjukan untuk membantu melestarikan kebudayaan Bojonegoro, memanfaatkan area terbengkalai menjadi taman dan area bermain, memberikan kemudahan akses dan menambah keamanan ke waduk pacal, lalu menghadirkan pasar wisata sebagai sarana berdagang bagi warga sekitar, juga dermaga untuk memudahkan para nelayan.

One of the iconic of historical tourism in Bojonegoro is the Pacal reservoir, the purpose of the redesign is to revive the Pacal reservoir, produce the means of the natural tourism, historical tourism, and the cultural tourism for the Bojonegoro society and the vinicity, as well as can be the means of the society economic matters in Kedungsumber village. The design method used is the liniear method with the Extending Tradition approach by Tan Hock Beng by citing design tenet of Kengo Kuma in the building of Noh Stage In The Forest. Stream lining of Malo custom house as the Bojonegoro architecture tradition, with Renew of Malo Traditional House concept, the thing which intends to attend the architectural traditional of the Malo traditional house inti the Pacal Reservoir Park. Then, this redesign produced a exhibition facility to help the preserve of Bojonegoro culture, utilizing the abandoned areas become the park and the play area, provide easy of access and increase the security in Pacal reservoir, then present arrange the tourism market as a means of the trade for local residents, as well as a pier to facilitate the fishermen.
