Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kesulitan belajar merupakan suatu kondisi dalam suatu proses belajar yang ditandai adanya hambatan-hambatan tertentu untuk mencapai hasil belajar. Kesulitan belajar matematika disebut juga diskalkulia (dyscalculis). Kesulitan belajar matematika menurut Lerner ada delapan yaitu, gangguan hubungan keruangan, abnormalitas persepsi visual, asosiasi visual-motor, perserevasi, kesulitan mengenal dan memahami simbol, gangguan penghayatan tubuh, kesulitan dalam bahasa dan membaca, dan skor PIQ jauh lebih rendah daripada skor VIQ.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa kelas II pada materi penjumlahan (2) Apa saja faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar pada siswa kelas II pada materi penjumlahan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Tulungagung.
Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, teknik tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan model analisis Miles and Huberman.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Kesulitan belajar siswa kelas II pada materi penjumlahan di Madrasah ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Tulungagung yang diperlihatkan oleh subjek berdasarkan teori kesulitan matematika Lerner yaitu (a) Gangguan Hubungan Keruangan (b) Asosiasi Visual-Motor (c) Perserevasi, (d) Kesulitan Mengenal dan Memahami Simbol, dan (e) Kesulitan dalam Bahasa dan Membaca. Sedangkan kesulitan belajar siswa kelas II pada materi penjumlahan yang tidak diperlihatkan oleh subjek yaitu, (a) Abnormalitas Persepsi Visual, (b) Gangguan Penghayatan Tubuh dan (c) Skor PIQ Jauh Lebih Rendah daripada Skor VIQ. (2) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu (a) Faktor internal yaitu bakat dan minat, motivasi dan semangat belajar, hiperaktif, dan siswa belum memahami materi, dan (b) Faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga, fasilitas belajar dan media belajar kurang, dan cara mengajar guru.

Learning difficulty is a condition in learning process marked by certain obstacles to achieve learning outcome. The learning difficulty of mathematics is called dyscalculia (dyscalculis). According to Lerner, there are some learning difficulties of mathematics: spatial relation disorder, visual perception disorder, visual-motor association, perseveration, difficulty recognizing and understanding symbol, body image disorder, difficulty in language and reading, and the PIQ scores lower than VIQ scores.
This research aims (1) to find out the learning difficulties experienced by students in class II in addition material, (2) to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties of class II students in addition material in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Tulungagung.
This research used qualitative approach with descriptive research type. It was carried out for three months. Data collection technique used observation, test technique, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman.
It shows that (1) learning difficulties of class II students in addition material in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Tulungagung which is shown by the subject based on Lerner's mathematical difficulty theory consist of (a) spatial relation disorder, (b) visual-motor association, (c) perseveration, (d) difficulty recognizing and understanding symbol, and (e) difficulty in language and reading. While learning difficulties of class II students in addition material in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Tulungagung which is not shown by the subject of (a) Visual Perception Disorder, (b) Body Image Disorder, and (c) the PIQ scores lower than VIQ scores (2) The factors causing students learning difficulties are (a) internal factors namely talent and interest, motivation and enthusiasm for learning, hyperactivity, and students do not understand the material, and (b ) external factors, namely the family environment, the less of learning facilities and learning media, and the way of the teachers teach the students.
