Abstract
INDONESIA:
Proses pendidikan diawali ketika individu yang dilahirkan dalam lingkungan keluarga, kemudian dilanjutkan dan dikembangkan melalui jenjang pendidikan formal, terstruktur dan sistematis seperti dalam lingkungan sekolah. Pendidikan tidak hanya mencetak manusia yang pandai dalam menguasai perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan tekhnologi, namun juga manusia yang didukung dengan iman dan taqwa pada dirinya. Ketertarikan dalam belajar akan memudahkan siswa untuk memperoleh tujuan dan keberhasilan dalam belajar. Pada Madrasah Aliyah, siswa belajar agama dengan lebih kompleks dan mendalam, sedangkan siswa yang bersekolah di Sekolah Umum belajar agama lebih sedikit di sekolah.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui motivasi belajar agama Islam siswa MAN 1 Kota Malang. (2) mengetahui motivasi belajar agama Islam siswa SMAN 2 Malang. (3) mengetahui ada tidaknya motivasi belajar agama Islam siswa MAN 1 Kota Malang dan SMAN 2 Malang.
Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian komparatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Kota Malang dan SMAN 2 Malang yang dijumlah sehingga menjadi 596. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 siswa MAN 1 Kota Malang dan 60 siswa SMAN 2 Malang. Analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test atau uji t dengan program SPSS 24 for windows.
Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar agama Islam siswa MAN 1 Kota Malang masuk dalam kategori rendah. (2) motivasi belajar agama Islam siswa SMAN 2 Malang masuk dalam kategori rendah. (3) H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar agama MAN 1 Kota Malang dengan SMAN 2 Malang.
ENGLISH:
The education process begins when individuals are born in a family environment, then continued and developed through formal, structured and systematic levels of education such as in a school environment. Education not only make people who are smart in mastering the development of science and technology, but also people who are supported by faith and piety in themselves. Interest in learning will make it easier for students to obtain goals and success in learning. At Islamic Senior High School, students learn religion more complexly and deeply, while students who attend public schools study religion less in school.
The purposes were to: (1) find out the motivation of Islamic religious learning of students in State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang. (2) find out the motivation of Islamic religious learning of students in State Senior High School of 2 Malang. (3) find out whether there is any differences of motivation to study Islamic religion of students in State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang and State Senior High School of 2 Malang.
To achieve the purposes above, this research used a quantitative approach with comparative research types. Data collection methods used a questionnaire. The population were all students of Eleventh Class of State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang and State Senior High School of 2 Malang, which totaled to 596. Sampling used a proportionate random sampling technique. The number of samples were 60 students of State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang and 60 students of State Senior High School of 2 Malang. Hypothesis test analysis used independent sample t-test or t test with SPSS 24 for windows program
The results of the analysis of the research data showed that: (1) the motivation to learn Islamic religion of students in State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang was low. (2) the motivation to learn Islamic religion of students in State Senior High School of 2 Malang was low. (3) H0 is accepted and H1 rejected, meaning there is no difference in the motivation to study Islamic religion of State Islamic Senior High School of 1 Malang and State Senior High School of 2 Malang.
