Abstract
INDONESIA:
Disiplin dan tanggung jawab merupakan karakter penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Penanaman karakter tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan positif di sekolah, misalnya Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS). Melalui OSIS banyak kegiatan yang dikembangkan dengan tujuan penanaman karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab kepada peserta didik, dan di harapkan peserta didik dapat memiliki sikap disiplin diri terhadap waktu dan tanggung jawab terhadap tugas.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan internalisasi Karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab melalui organisasi siswa intra sekolah di MTs Raudlatul Ulum. (2) Mendeskripsikan Kegiatan-kegiatan apa saja yang melibatkan organisasi siswa intra sekolah dalam upaya internalisasi karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab di MTs Raudlatul Ulum. (3) Mendeskripsikan metode yang digunakan madratsah dalam upaya internalisasi karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab melalui organisasi siswa intra sekolah di MTs Raudlatul Ulum.
Untuk menjawab masalah tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Proses penelitian melalui tahap pengumpulan data, editing atau pemilihan data dan pengecekan keabsahan temuan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan data peneliti menggunakan metode triangulasi dan kecukupan referensial.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses penanaman karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab di MTs Raudlatul Ulum dilakukan dengan menerapkan kegiatan-kegiatan rutin, bersifat pembiasaan, dilakukan secara terus menerus serta terstruktur. (2) Karakter disiplin yang ditanamkan adalah disiplin terhadap tugas dan disiplin terhadap waktu, dan karakter tanggung jawab yang ditanamkan adalah tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri, tanggung jawab terhadap orang lain, tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan serta tanggung jawab terhadap tuhan yang maha esa. (3) Metode yang digunakan dalam upaya internalisasi karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab melalui osis adalah pemberian nasihat, keteladanan pembina, pemberian tugas serta hukuman.
Saran yang dapat diajukan oleh peneliti adalah: (1) Sekolah hendaknya terus berupaya menanamkan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab terhadap peserta didik melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh sekolah sesuai dengan program yang sudah ada. (2) Peserta didik yang tergabung dalam pengurus OSIS diharapkan dapat menjalankan segala kegiatan yang ada dalam OSIS dengan penuh kesadaran dan keikhlasan, sehingga dapat menjalankan kegiatan yang ada di dalam OSIS dengan baik dan tanpa adanya rasa terpaksa. (3) Sekolah diharapkan dapat menyampaikan kepada orang tua peserta didik untuk mengontrol kegiatan peserta didik di rumah, terlebih melakukan pembiasaan sebagai dukungan orang tua dengan adanya penanaman karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab dari pihak sekolah.
ENGLISH:
Discipline and responsibility are important characters in learning at school. The character planting can be done through a variety of positive activities in the school, such as the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS). Through OSIS many activities are developed with the aim of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility to students, and it is hoped that students can have an attitude of self-discipline towards time and responsibility for the task.
The objectives of this study are: (1) Describe the implementation of internalization of the Character of discipline and responsibility through intra-school student organizations at MTs Raudlatul Ulum. (2) Describe what activities involve intra-school student organizations in an effort to internalize the character of discipline and responsibility at MTs Raudlatul Ulum. (3) Describe the method used by the madrasa in an effort to internalize the character of discipline and responsibility through intra-school student organizations at MTs Raudlatul Ulum.
To answer this problem, this study uses a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The research process through the stages of data collection, editing or selection of data and checking the validity of the findings. Checking the validity of the data findings of the researcher using the method of triangulation and referential adequacy.
The results of this study indicate that: (1) The process of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility at Raudlatul Ulum MTs is carried out by implementing routine activities, which are habitual, carried out continuously and structured. (2) The character of the discipline that is implanted is discipline of duty and discipline of time, and the character of the responsibility instilled is responsibility for oneself, responsibility for others, responsibility for duties, responsibility for the environment and responsibility for the god Almighty. (3) The method used in an effort to internalize the character of the discipline and responsibility through the student council is giving advice, exemplary guidance, giving assignments and punishment.
Suggestions that can be submitted by researchers are: (1) Schools should continue to strive to instill the character of discipline and responsibility for students through habituation-habituation carried out by the school in accordance with existing programs. (2) Students who are members of the OSIS management are expected to be able to carry out all activities in the Student Council with full awareness and sincerity, so that they can carry out the activities in the Student Council properly and without feeling forced. (3) The school is expected to be able to convey to the parents of students to control the activities of students at home, especially to make habituation as parents' support by planting the character of the discipline and responsibility of the school.
