Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kebijaksanaan didefinisikan sebagai suatu kombinasi dari karakteristik kepribadian dengan 3 komponen yang luas sedangkan kecerdasan emosional didefinisikan kemampuan seseorang baik dalam memahami, mengontrol, kemudian merespon perasaan dirinya dan orang lain. Terdapat 3 faktor pembentuk kebijaksanaan, yaitu faktor cognitive, reflective, dan affective, sedangkan kecerdasan emosional memiliki 5 fakor pembentuk, yaitu mengenali emosi diri, mengelola emosi, memotivasi diri sendiri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kebijaksanaan, kecerdasan emosional dan hubungan antara kebijaksanaan dengan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 334 remaja tengah berumur 17-18 yang berstatus pelajar sekolah lanjutan pertama akhir di lamongan metode penelitian kuantitatif berupa regresi linier sederhana.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan : 1) Tingkat kebijaksanaan remaja di lamongan berkatogorisasi tinggi, sedang dan rendah berjumlah 40 (12%), 251 (75%), dan 43 (13%), sedangkan tingkat kecerdasan emosional berkategorisasi tinggi, sedang dan rendah berjumlah 56 (24%), 221 (59%), dan 60 (17%). 2) Hubungan antara kebijaksanaan dengan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja diperoleh hasil nilai signiffikansi 0,00 < p 0,05 dan standart koefisiensi 0,516 yang mana menandakan korelasi yang kuat.
ENGLISH:
Wisdom is defined as a combination of personality characteristics with 3 broad components while emotional intelligence is defined as a person's ability to understand, control, and then respond to the feelings of himself and others. There are 3 factors such as cognitive, reflective, and affective factors, while emotional intelligence has factors, namely recognizing self-emotion, managing emotions, motivating oneself, recognizing the emotions of others, and relationship management.
This study aims to look at the level of wisdom, emotional intelligence and the relationship between wisdom and emotional intelligence in adolescents. The subjects in this study involved 334 middle adolescents aged 17-18 years old who had the status of final junior high school students in the Lamongan by using quantitative research method in the form of simple linear regression.
The results showed: 1) The level of adolescent wisdom in lamongan is to categorize high, medium and low amounted to 40 (12%), 251 (75%), and 43 (13%), in addition, the level of emotional intelligence was categorized as high, medium and low amounted to 56 (24%), 221 (59%), and 60 (17%). 2) The relationship between wisdom and emotional intelligence in adolescents is obtained by the results of signifficity value of 0.00 <p 0.05 and standard coefficient of 0.516 which indicates a strong correlation.
