Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kecerdasan sosial siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, Kabupaten Mojokerto, (2) mengetahui tingkat kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, Kabupaten Mojokerto, dan (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kecerdasan sosial terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, Kabupaten Mojokerto.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskripsi dan regresi sederhana. Pada penelitian ini digunakan dua jenis skala untuk mengumpulkan data, yaitu skala kecerdasan sosial dan skala kedisiplinan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pengambilan sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling) dengan mengambil sampel penelitian sebanyak 108 siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, Kabupaten Mojokerto.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: siswa kelas XI memiliki tingkat kecerdasan sosial yang tinggi sebanyak 99,1% (107 siswa), sedangkan 0,9% (1 siswa) memiliki tingkat kecerdasan sosial yang sedang dan sebanyak 0% memiliki tingkat kecerdasan sosial yang rendah dan tingkat kedisiplinan yang tinggi sebanyak 63,0% (68 siswa), sedangkan 37,0% (40 siswa) memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan yang sedang dan sebanyak 0% memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan yang rendah.
Berdasarkan pengujian terhadap hipotesis penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa kecerdasan sosial berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan sebesar 53,1% dan 46,9% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
ENGLISH:
This study aims to (1) determine social intelligence of XI class students in Mojosari Senior High School, Mojokerto, (2) determine the level of discipline students in Mojosari Senior High School, Mojokerto, and (3) to determine the effect of social intelligence discipline within the class XI Mojosari Senior High School, Mojokerto.
This study uses a quantitative approach with the description and simple regression analysis. In this study used two types of scale to collect data, the scale of social intelligence and scale of discipline. The sampling technique used in this study aims sampling (purposive sampling) by taking a sample of 108 students of XI class in Mojosari Senior High School, Mojokerto.
Based on research results, obtained the following results: students have a high level of social intelligence as much as 99.1% (107 students), while 0.9% (1 student) had a moderate level of social intelligence and as much as 0% have a level of intelligence low social and the high level of discipline as much as 63.0% (68 students), while 37.0% (40 students) had a moderate level of discipline and as much as 0% have a low level of discipline.
Based on this research hypothesis testing, showed that the effect on the discipline of social intelligence 53.1% and 46.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
