Abstract
INDONESIA:
Degradasi moral atau karakter saat ini menjadi sorotan utama pendidikan nasional. Pemerintah berusaha melakukan inovasi pembaharuan kurikulum pendidikan nasional agar dapat mencetak lulusan yang tidak hanya pintar dalam intelektual tetpi juga anggun dalam berkarakter. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka diperlukan penataan sistem yang baik dalam memilih dan menerapkan strategi untuk diterapkan kepada peserta didik.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di SD My Little Island, (2) mendeskripsikan strategi penanaman pendidikan karakter di SD My Little Island, (3) mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat penerapan pendidikan karakter di SD My Little Island.
Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrument kunci adalah peneliti sendiri dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data yang tidak relevan, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di SD My Little Island yakni integritas, keyakinan, disiplin diri, kebijaksanaan dan loyalitas, (2) strategi penanaman pendidikan karakter di SD My Little Island dengan menerapkan sistem full day school dan CSI (Character Solutions International) dan dalam praktiknya dimulai dengan pembiasaan sehari-hari dimana sekolah juga mempunyai program khusus yang harus dilaksanakan oleh semua siswa dan apabila siswa melanggar akan mendapat teguran atau sanksi khusus, (3) faktor pendukung penerapan pendidikan karakter di SD My Little Island adalah adanya sarana dan pra sarana yang memadai serta CSI lesson plan sebagai acuan pendidikan karakter, faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter adalah ketika orang tua tidak dapat diajak untuk bekerja sama serta keberagaman siswa karena berasal dari latar belakang yang berbeda-beda.

Moral or character degradation is currently the main focus of national education. The government is trying to innovate the renewal of the national education curriculum in order to be able to produce graduates who are not only smart in intellectual property but also graceful in character. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary to arrange a good system in choosing and implementing strategies to be applied to students.
The purpose of this study was to: (1) describe the character values develop at SD My Little Island, (2) describe the strategy of implementing character education at SD My Little Island, (3) describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the application of character education at SD My Little Island.
To achieve the above objectives, a qualitative research approach using descriptive methods is used. The key instrument is the researcher himself and the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that, (1) character values develop at SD My Little Island are integrity, conviction, self-dicipline, wisdom and loyalty, the strategy of implementing character education at SD My Little Island, namely by implementing a full day school and CSI (Character Solutions International) system, (2) the strategy of implementing character education at SD My Little Island namely by implementing a full day school and CSI (Character Solutions International) system and in practice began with daily habits where schools also have special programs that must be implemented by all students and if students violate they will receive special reprimand or sanction, (3) supporting factors for the application of character education at My Little Island Elementary School are adequate facilities and pre-facilities and CSI lesson plan as a reference character education, the inhibiting factor for the implementation of character education is the diversity of students comes from different backgrounds.
