Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kegiatan non akademik merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan di luar kurikulum. Pembelajaran tersebut diadakan semata-mata untuk mewujudkan peserta didik yang mampu mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut maka peran Guru Pembina non akademik menjadi satu keniscayaan yang patut diperhatikan, guru pembina pun memiliki peran dalam upaya meningkatkan prestasi terutama dibidang non akademik suatu lembaga/Sekolah, Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif, Fokus Penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana peran dan bentuk pendampingan guru pendamping ekstrakurikuler dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik siswa? Serta apa saja hambatan guru pendamping ekstrakurikuler dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik siswa?
Adapun Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru, bentuk pendampingan dan hambatan guru pendamping ekstrakurikuler dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi, Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik Continous Observation, dimana peneliti mengadakan observasi secara terus menerus,Triangulasi digunakan untuk menjelaskan keabsahan data dengan berbagai sumber/narasumber dalam mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan. Diskusi Sejawat teknik ini digunakan sebagai penguat hasil penelitian.
Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) peran guru pendamping dalam meningkakan prestasi non-akademik di MTs Al-Hayatul Islamiyah adalah Guru sebagai pendidik, Pembimbing, Penilai. (2) Bentuk Pendampingan yang dilakukan Guru pendamping dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik adalah melalui peran guru sebagai organisator yang diimplementasikan dalam bentuk Pendampingan kolektif dan sebagai penasihat yang diimplementasikan melalui betuk pendampingan khusus. (3) Hambatan Guru Pendamping kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah sarana-pra sarana sekolah yang kurang, dan kurangnya antusias anak didik dari luar pesantren.
ENGLISH:
Non academic activities are activities that occur outside the curriculum like scouts, scientific papers, red cross, footsal, and others. The learning was held solely to realize learners who are able to develop the potential of their religious potential, good self-control, personality, intelligence, morals, and skill that needed by society and also their self. To realize this, then the role of non-academic teacher becomes a necessity that should be noted. The teacher has the role in an attempt to increase students achievement especially in the field of non academic an institution/school. This research is Qualitative Descriptive Research. The focus of this research is (1) How is the role of extracurricular teacher in improving non-academic achievement of students in MTs Al-Hayatul Islamiyah? (2) What kind of mentoring by extracurricular teacher in improving non-academic achievement of students in MTs Al-Hayatul Islamiyah? (3) what are the obstacles of extracurricular teachers in improving non-academic achievement of students in MTs Al-Hayatul Islamiyah?
This research aims to: (1) Describe the role of the extracurricular teacher in improving the non academic achievements (2) Describe the form of mentoring of extracurricular teacher in improving non-academic achievement (3) Describe the obstacles of extracurricular teachers in improving non-academic achievement.
Data collection is done using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves. Checking the validity of the data using the technique of Presisent Observation, where the researchers held a continuous observation. Triangulation is used to explain the validity of data with different source/resource in finding needed information and Peer Discussion, this technique is used to strengthen the results of the research.
The results showed that: (1) The role of extracurricular teacher in improving the non academic achievements in MTs Al-Hayatul Islamiyah is as educator, guide, and evaluator. (2) The form of mentoring of extracurricular teacher in improving non-academic achievement by teacher role as organizer that impelemented by using collective mentoring and through extracurricular teacher's role as an advisor who implemented through mentoring (3) the obstacles of extracurricular teachers in improving non-academic achievement are the lack of school means and enthusiastic students from outside of the boarding school.
