Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penggunaan media internet di lingkungan universitas semakin meningkat. Kemudahan dalam mengakses internet menimbulkan penyalah gunaan internet juga semakin bertambah, salah satunya ialah aktivitas cyberloafing. Cyberloafing dalam konteks pendidikan mengacu pada perilaku mahasiswa dalam mengakses internet untuk tujuan non-akademik selama kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa mengenai metode mengajar dosen terhadap cyberloafing dimoderasi kontrol diri pada mahasiswa Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang tahun angkatan 2014- 2017 yang berjumlah 897 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dan menentukan jumlah sampel pada tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan taraf kesalahan 10% sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel 208 mahasiswa. Alat ukur dengan menggunakan tiga skala yaitu persepsi metode mengajar dosen 9 aitem, skala kotrol diri 18 aitem dan cyberloafing 15 aitem. Analsis data menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) melalui software IBM SPSS for windows versi 20.0.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa mengenai metode mengajar dosen termasuk dalam kategori baik (Mean = 33,37, SD= 4,47), kontrol diri mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang (Mean = 31,10, SD= 7,35), dan cyberloafing termasuk dalam kategori sedang (Mean = 56,83, SD= 8,66). Hasil analisis diketahui persepsi mahasiswa mengenai metode memgajar dosen berpengaruh terhadap perilaku cyberloafing ditunjukkan dengan nilai R squer 0,048 Sig sebesar 0,001, t hitung 3,229 > t tabel 1,971. Kontrol diri terbukti berpengaruh dalam memoderatori pengaruh antara persespsi mahasiswa mengenai metode mengajar dosen dengan aktivitas cyberloafing di mana R squer 13,6 %, sig 0,00 dan t hitung 4,52 > t tabel 1,971.

Internet usage in the college environment is increasing. Also, the ease of this Internet access has resulted in an increase of Internet misuse, one of which is in the form of cyberloafing. In the academic context, this term refers to the behavior of students in accessing the Internet for non-academic purposes during the teaching and learning activities. This study aims to determine the effect of perception regarding teaching methods towards cyberloafing activities moderated by self-control of Psychology students of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang.
The population of this study are the Psychology students of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang from 2014-2017 classes consist of 897 students. This study uses a random sampling technique in which the sample size was determined based on the Isaac and Michael table with an error rate of 10%, from which a total of 208 students was obtained. This study uses three measuring devices, namely the perception regarding the lecturers’ teaching methods consists of 9 items, self-control scale consists of 18 items, and cyberloafing consists of 15 items. The data was analyzed through Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using a software named IBM SPSS version 20.0 for Windows.
The results showed that students' perceptions regarding the lecturers’ teaching methods belonged to the good category (Mean = 33.37, SD = 4.47). Meanwhile, students self-control belonged to the medium category (Mean = 31, 10, SD = 7.35), and cyberloafing also belonged to the medium category (Mean = 56.83, SD = 8.66). Based on results of the analysis, it is known that students' perceptions regarding the lecturers’ teaching methods influence the cyberloafing behavior as indicated by the value of R Square of 0.048 Sig of 0.001, t count 3.229> t table 1.971. Self-control has been shown to have an influence in moderating the relationship between students' perceptions regarding the lecturers’ teaching methods and cyberloafing activities in which R square is 13.6%, sig 0.00 and t count 4.52> t table 1.971.
