Abstract
INDONESIA:
Analisis kebangkrutan dilakukan untuk memperoleh peringatan awal kebangkrutan. Semakin awal tanda-tanda kebangkrutan tersebut, semakin baik bagi pihak manajemen bisa melakukan perbaikan-perbaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas (current ratio) dan leverage (debt to asset ratio) terhadap financial distress (2) untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis profitabilitas (return on asset) memoderasi pengaruh likuiditas (current ratio) dan leverage (debt to asset ratio) terhadap financial distress.
Penelitian di perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2015-2017. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 41 perusahaan dengan sampel sebanyak 27 perusahaan. Metode financial distress yang digunakan adalah metode Springate. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan aplikasi SPSS.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Leverage berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Profitabilitas tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan antara likuiditas terhadap financial distress. Sedangkan profitabilitas mampu memoderasi hubungan antara leverage terhadap financial distress.
ENGLISH:
A bankruptcy analysis is made to get the first waring of bankruptcy. The earlier the signs of bankruptcy, the better for management to make improvements. The purpose of this research to (1) know and analyze the effect of liquidity (current ratio) and leverage (debt to asset ratio) on financial distress (2) to know and analyze the profitability (return on asset) the effect of liquidity (current ratio) and leverage (debt to asset ratio) on financial distress.
This research in company of consumer goods industry sector that listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2015-2017. The population in this research is 41 with sample of 27 companies. The method of financial distress by Springate. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS application.
The result of this study show that liquidity has negative and significant on financial distress. Leverage has positive and significant on financial distress. Profitability is unable to moderate the effect of liquidity on financial distress. Whereas profitability is able to moderate the effect of leverage on financial distress.
