Abstract
INDONESIA:
Daun anting-anting (Acalypha indica Linn) dipercaya memiliki khasiat dapat mengobati berbagai macam penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh mikroba termasuk antibakteri atau antifungi. Pada daun anting-anting mengandung senyawa aktif seperti steroid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin dan minyak atsiri yang berperan sebagai anti mikroba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi aktivitas antifungi ekstrak daun anting-anting terhadap jamur Trichophyton rubrum dan Candida albicans.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dilakukan dengan 2 tahapan yaitu uji fitokimia dan uji zona hambat. Uji fitokimia meliputi alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, dan terpenoid. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 ulangan. Jamur yang diuji adalah Trichophyton rubrum dan Candida albicans. Konsentrasi ekstrak daun anting-anting (Acalypha indica Linn) yang digunakan terdiri atas 7 taraf, yaitu (kontrol kuman), 5%, 15%, 25%, 35%, 45% dan 100%. Parameter yang diamati meliputi zona hambat 1terhadap jamur Trichophyton rubrum dan Candida albicans. Analisis data menggunakan uji Anava dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun anting-anting (Acalypha indica Linn) dapat menurunkan persentase koloni jamur yang ditumbuhkan pada biakan. Pemberian ekstrak daun anting-anting (Acalypha indica Linn) dengan konsentrasi 15% sudah mampu menghambat jamur Trichophyton rubrum, sedangkan pada konsentrasi 100% mampu meningkatkan hambatan pertumbuhan koloni jamur berbeda nyata antara konsentrasi 15% dan 100%.

Anting-anting leaf (Acalypha indica Linn) is believed to have efficacy to treat several diseases caused by microbes including antibacterial or antifungal. In Anting-anting leaves, it contain active compounds such as steroids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and essential oils that act as anti-microbial. This study aims to determine the antifungal activity of antifungal Anting-anting leaf extract to Trichophyton rubrum and Candida albicans.
The type of this research is descriptive quantitative, done with 2 stages that is phytochemical test and drag zone test. Phytochemical tests including alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and terpenoids. The research method was using Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The fungi tested were Trichophyton rubrum and Candida albicans. The concentration of Anting-anting leaf extract (Acalypha indica Linn) used consisted of 7 levels, namely (control of germs), 5%, 15%, 25%, 35%, 45%, and 100%. Parameters observed included inhibit zone to Trichophyton rubrum and Candida albicans fungi. Data analysis are gotten from using Anava test and continued with further test DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test).
The results showed that Anting-anting leaf extract (Acalypha indica Linn) can decrease the percentage of mushroom colonies grown on culture. Provision of Acalypha indica Linn extract with 15% concentration was able to inhibit Candida albicans fungus, whereas at 100% concentration able to increase the resistance of fungal colony growth was significantly different between the concentration of 15% and 100%.
