Abstract
INDONESIA:
Fauna tanah merupakan organisme yang siklus hidupnya dihabiskan di tanah. Peranan penting fauna ini adalah dalam proses kesuburan tanah secara alami. Pertanian jambu biji semi organik mempunyai nilai lebih karena mengurangi pemakaian pestisida dan pupuk kimia yang berbahaya bagi kelangsungan fauna tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman fauna tanah pada perkebunan jambu biji semi organik dan anorganik di Desa Bumiaji Kota Batu.
Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksplorasi. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode absolut dan metode relatif. Sedangkan analisis data meliputi indeks keanekaragaman, indeks dominasi, dan kesamaan 2 lahan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pada perkebunan jambu biji semi organik ditemukan 6 kelas, 11 ordo, 14 famili dan 1234 individu. Sedangkan pada perkebunan jambu biji anorganik ditemukan 4 kelas, 8 ordo, 8 famili, dan 593 individu. Indeks keanekaragaman tertinggi terdapat pada perkebunan jambu biji semi organik dan indeks kesamaan dua lahan menunjukkan bahwa kedua lahan tersebut memiliki kemiripan yang rendah. Analisis kandungan bahan organic dan C/N rasio pada lahan semi organik lebih tinggi dari pada lahan anorganik.
ENGLISH:
Earth-fauna is an organism having life cycle inside soil. It has important role that can help soil fertility process naturally. Semi-organic guava agriculture has plus valuince it decreases pesticides and chemical fertilizer which are dangerous for earth-fauna’s life. This research is aimed to understand the diversity of earth-fauna at semi-organic and inorganic guava plantation in Bumiaji village, Batu city.
It is descriptive quantitative research using exploration method. To take the data, the researcher uses absolute method and relative method while to analyze, he uses diversity index, domination index, and similarity of two areas.
This research presents that the finding is there are 6 classes, 11 orders, 14 families and 1234 individuals in the semi-organic guava plantation. While in inorganic guava plantation, there are 4 classes, 8 orders, 8 families and 593 individuals. The highest diversity index is found in the semi-organic guava plantation. Similarity index of two areas shows that they have low similarity. Analysis of organic substance and C/N ratio on semi-organic area is higher than inorganic area.
