تعاني شخصية ليث في قصة "مغامرات العظماء الصغار" من أزمة هوية نتيجة التغيرات الجذرية التي شهدتها حياته بعد انهيار المملكة ووفاة والديه، مما أدى إلى ظهور الحيرة والشك والتساؤل حول اتجاه حياته ومستقبله. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل أشكال أزمة الهوية، وتحديد وضع الهوية، وتحليل دينامية تطور الذات لدى شخصية ليث في قصة "مغامرات العظماء الصغار" لنور معترماوي اعتمادًا على نظرية حالات الهوية لجيمس إدوارد مارسيا ونظرية الهوية السردية لدان ميك أدم. استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي الكيفي من خلال مدخل علم النفس الأدبي. وتم جمع البيانات باستخدام أسلوبي القراءة والتدوين، ثم تحليلها وفق نموذج مايلز وهوبرمان الذي يشمل تقليص البيانات وعرضها واستخلاص النتائج. وأظهرت نتائج البحث أن: (1) ليث مرّ بأزمة هوية تمثلت في الشك في اختياراته الحياتية، والحيرة بين متطلبات الواقع ورغباته الشخصية، والتفكير في بدائل متعددة للحياة، والتساؤل عن مستقبله واتجاه حياته بعد انهيار المملكة ووفاة والديه؛ (2) ووفقًا لنظرية مارسيا، مرّت هوية ليث بمرحلة الموراتوريوم (Moratorium) ثم وصلت إلى تحقيق الهوية (Identity Achievement) من خلال عملية الاستكشاف وبناء الالتزام؛ (3) ووفقًا لنظرية الهوية السردية لدان ميك أدم، ظهر تطور الذات لدى ليث من خلال وجود نقطة تحول (Turning Point) تمثلت في خبرات الفقدان والمعاناة التي غيرت نظرته إلى الحياة، إضافة إلى بناء المعنى (Meaning-Making) الذي تجلّى في قدرته على تفسير تجاربه الحياتية بوصفها جزءًا من عملية بناء هويته. وتدل نتائج البحث على أن تجارب الفقدان والصراع والمعاناة تؤدي دورًا مهمًا في تشكيل الهوية وتطور الذات وصولًا إلى النضج النفسي.

ABSTRACT

Laith, the main character in Mughāmarāt al-'Uẓamā' aṣ-Ṣighār, experiences an identity crisis as a result of major changes in his life following the collapse of the kingdom and the death of his parents, leading to confusion, doubt, and questions regarding his life direction and future. This study aims to analyze the forms of identity crisis, identify the identity status, and examine the self-development of Laith in Mughāmarāt al-'Uẓamā' aṣ-Ṣighār by Nūr Mu'tarmāwī based on James E. Marcia’s identity status theory and Dan P. McAdams’ narrative identity theory. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a literary psychology approach. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that: (1) Laith experiences an identity crisis characterized by doubts about his life choices, conflicts between personal desires and the demands of reality, consideration of alternative life paths, and questions regarding his future and life direction after the collapse of the kingdom and the death of his parents; (2) according to James E. Marcia’s theory, Laith’s identity is characterized by a moratorium status and subsequently reaches identity achievement through a process of exploration and commitment formation; (3) according to Dan P. McAdams’ narrative identity theory, Laith’s self-development is reflected through a significant turning point represented by experiences of loss and suffering that reshape his worldview, as well as meaning-making, which enables him to interpret those experiences as part of his identity formation. The findings indicate that experiences of loss, conflict, and suffering play an important role in shaping identity and fostering self-development toward psychological maturity.

ABSTRAK

Tokoh Laith dalam cerita Mughāmarāt al-'Uẓamā' aṣ-Ṣighār mengalami krisis identitas akibat perubahan besar dalam kehidupannya setelah runtuhnya kerajaan dan wafatnya kedua orang tuanya, yang menimbulkan kebimbangan, keraguan, serta pertanyaan mengenai arah hidup dan masa depannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk krisis identitas, menentukan status identitas, dan menganalisis perkembangan diri tokoh Laith dalam cerita Mughāmarāt al-'Uẓamā' aṣ-Ṣighār karya Nūr Mu'tarmāwī berdasarkan teori status identitas James E. Marcia dan teori identitas naratif Dan P. McAdams. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca dan catat, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Laith mengalami krisis identitas yang ditandai dengan keraguan terhadap pilihan hidupnya, kebimbangan antara tuntutan realitas dan keinginan pribadi, pertimbangan terhadap berbagai alternatif kehidupan, serta pertanyaan mengenai masa depan dan arah hidupnya setelah runtuhnya kerajaan dan wafatnya kedua orang tuanya; (2) berdasarkan teori James E. Marcia, identitas Laith berada pada status moratorium (Moratorium) dan kemudian mencapai status pencapaian identitas (Identity Achievement) melalui proses eksplorasi dan pembentukan komitmen; (3) berdasarkan teori identitas naratif Dan P. McAdams, perkembangan diri Laith tampak melalui adanya titik balik (Turning Point) yang berupa pengalaman kehilangan dan penderitaan yang mengubah cara pandangnya terhadap kehidupan, serta proses pembentukan makna (Meaning-Making) yang tercermin dalam kemampuannya menafsirkan pengalaman hidup sebagai bagian dari pembentukan identitas dirinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman kehilangan, konflik, dan penderitaan berperan penting dalam pembentukan identitas dan perkembangan diri menuju kematangan psikologis.
