Abstract
ABSTRACT
The teaching of reading skills is essential for the students in the school. And students need good teaching resources to develop their reading skills. But Teaching aids and resources for Arabic subjects in Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah are very limited and also less attractive. Teaching reading skills need to be more interesting so that the students will benefit more and it will also increase the students’ desire to learn Arabic Language.
Teaching reading skill using computer programme such as slideshow presentation is a one way to help the students learned Arabic Language. It will stimulate the students’ attention, and motivate the students to learn more.
Hence, this research will develop teaching resources for reading skill using slideshow presentation for the Secondary Two students in Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah. This research aims to know the steps how to develop teaching reading skills using slideshow presentation, and to know the effectiveness of using slideshow presentation.
In this research, the researcher used the developmental research approach. From the results of the pre-test and post-test shows that to teach the skill of reading using slideshow presentation is effective.

Pengajaran kemahiran bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang sangat penting di Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah, kerana kemahiran membaca adalah antara salah satu kemahiran-kemahiran yang dapat membantu seseorang individu menguasai sesuatu bahasa. Malangnya, bahan bantu mengajar di Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah sedikit bilangannya dan kurang menarik perhatian pelajar.
Dengan itu penulis akan membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar untuk pengajaran kemahiran bahasa Arab untuk pelajar-pelajar Menengah 2. Dengan menyiapkan slaid presentasi menggunakan Keynote.
Tujuan dari kajian ini untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar untuk slaid presentasi dan mengetahui efektifnya program tersebut.
Penulis mengkaji kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dan keputusan daripada ujian t-test menunjukkan bahawa pengajaran menggunakan slaid presentasi adalah efektif.
