Abstract

INDONESIA:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja karyawan di PT Prima Sakti Asia. Latar belakang penelitian ini
didasarkan pada pentingnya disiplin kerja sebagai salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan perusahaan.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner disiplin
kerja dan kinerja karyawan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Responden penelitian berjumlah 109 karyawan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling.

Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja karyawan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,639 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Nilai koefisien tersebut menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat dan searah, yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat disiplin kerja karyawan, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja karyawan yang dihasilkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah disiplin kerja memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT Prima Sakti Asia.

ENGLISH:

This study aims to examine the relationship between work discipline and employee performance at PT Prima Sakti Asia. The background of this research is based on the importance of work discipline as a key factor in improving employee performance and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. Good work discipline is expected to encourage employees to work in an orderly, responsible, and effective manner in carrying out their duties.

This study employed a quantitative correlational research design. Data were collected using work discipline and employee performance questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research subjects consisted of 110 employees selected using random sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rho correlation test due to the non-normal distribution of the data.
The results showed a positive and significant relationship between work discipline and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.639 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This coefficient indicates a strong and positive relationship, meaning that higher levels of work discipline are associated with higher levels of employee performance. It can be concluded that work discipline plays an important role in improving employee performance at PT Prima Sakti Asia.
