Abstract
ABSTRAK
Di Universitas Negeri Malang ada placementest Program Intensif Bahasa Arab Fakultas Sastra Jurusan Sastra Arab. Tes ini terdiri atas kemampuan kebahasaan (Kosa kata dan Struktur bahasa) dan Kemampuan berbahasa (Membaca dan menulis). Dan ini, belum bias mengukur kemampuan kebahasaan dan berbahasa mahasiswa, karena masih ada kemampuan berbahasa yang lain seperti: mendengar dan berbicara. Oleh karena itu, penulis ingin mengembangkan placementest ini.
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengembangkan placementest pada program intensif Bahasa Arab, Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Negeri Malang. (2) mengetahui validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan pengecoh pada placementest yang dikembengkan di Universitas Negeri Malang.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 3 pada tiga sekolah menengah atas di Malang. Instrument yang digunakan peneliti adalah dokumen dan test.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pengembangan placementest program intensif Bahasa Arab di Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai berikut: placementest terdiri atas 5 bagian yaitu mendengar (bunyi dan mendengar) sebanyak 15 soal, kosa kata sebanyak 7 soal, stuktur kata sebanyak 8 soal, membaca sebanyak 10 soal, menulis sebanyak 10 soal dan semua soal adalah pilihan ganda. (2) analisis placementest yang dikembangkan sebagai berikut, Validitas: bahwa tes ini pada kategori “sedang” yang ditunjukkan dengan 11 soal sangat rendah, 22 soal rendah, 14 soal sedang, 3 soal tinggi. Reliabilitas: bahwa tes ini termasuk kategori “sangat tinggi” yang ditunjukkan dengan 0,84. Tingkat kesukaran: bahwa tes ini masuk kategori “mudah” yang ditunjukkan dengan dengan 25 soal mudah, 20 soal sedang dan 5 soal sukar. Daya pembeda: bahwa tes ini masuk kategori “sedang” yang ditunjukkan 1 soal sangat baik, 11 soal baik, 17 soal cukup, 20 soal jelek dan 1 soal harus ditiadakan. Pengecoh: bahwa dalam tes ini masih terdapat beberapa pengecoh yang perlu direvisi lagi karena tidak bias mengecoh ataupun malah menjerumuskan siswa.
Harapan bagi peneliti-peneliti yang lain untuk selalu mengembangkan placementest bagi mahasiswa baru agar placementest menjadi lebih baik dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik pula.
ABSTRACT
There is Plcementest for new students for Intensive Arabic Teaching at the State University of Malang Faculty of Letters Department of Arabic literature. This test consists of the language elements (vocabulary and structures) and language skills (reading and writing). This is not a comprehensive measure of language proficiency among students because language elements and language skills, which was not mentioned in the past, such as sounds and listening and speaking because they are also important in the test even be accurate. Accordingly, the researcher wants to develop plcementest for new students.
The purposes of this research are: (1) to develop placementest in Intensive Learning Arabic, Faculty of Arts, State University of Malang. (2) to know the degree of validity, reliability, discrimination, difficulty and dispersion in the placementest developer in Intensive Learning Arabic, Faculty of Arts, State University of Malang.
The research method which is used by researcher is developing research by quantitative approach. The research population is students of Senior High School in Malang. The instruments are used by researcher is document and test.
The results of this research are: (1) the development of Placementest in Intensive Learning Arabic at State University of Malang: Patterns Placementest developer is made up of five sections which understand the audio (sounds and listening), which consists of 15 questions and vocabulary which consists of 7 questions and grammer which consists of 8 questions and reading which consists of 10 questions and writing which consists of 10 questions, form is multiple choice question. (2) analyze placementest developer as follows, Validity: the placementest developer in the degree of "average" to this question to 11 degrees the very bottom and 22 questions on the Lower degree and 14 degree on the average question and 3 a question to a higher degree. Reliability : the placementest developer in the degree of "the very top" evidence 0,84 using SPSS programmable, meaning this taxonomic developer test used at anywhere. Difficulty: the placementest developer in the estimation of the "easy" to this question in 25 degree "easy" and 20 questions in the degree of "average" and 5 questions in the degree of "difficult". Discrimination: The Placementest developer in the estimation of "acceptable" evidence is one question on the "very good" and 11 questions on the degree of "good" and 17 questions on the degree of "acceptable " and 20 questions on the degree of "payoff " and one question on the degree of "deposit". Dispersion: the placementest developer many of the answers options are useful because they cannot fool but predicted that the researcher should instead Quick answers.
It is suggested for other researchers to develop placementest for new students in order to gain better placementest.
