Analisis self actualization dalam teori hierarchy of needs Abraham Maslow pada platform Tiktok terhadap mahasiswa PIPS UIN Malang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis self actualization dalam teori Hierarchy of Needs Abraham Maslow pada platform TikTok terhadap mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (PIPS) UIN Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa aktif pengguna TikTok dari angkatan 2021 hingga 2024.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PIPS UIN Malang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok besar, yaitu kreator dan pengguna. Mahasiswa kreator telah mencapai aktualisasi diri melalui pembuatan konten di TikTok sebagai sarana ekspresi diri dan pengembangan kreativitas. Namun, bentuk aktualisasi diri tersebut belum sejalan dengan profil lulusan yang diharapkan, karena banyak dari mereka yang belum memanfaatkan platform ini untuk tujuan edukasi yang relevan dengan bidang pendidikan. Sebaliknya, mahasiswa pengguna yang tidak memproduksi konten dinilai belum mencapai aktualisasi diri karena hanya berperan sebagai penikmat. Meskipun demikian, mereka cenderung mengakses konten edukatif yang sesuai dengan profil lulusan Program Studi PIPS.

Faktor pendukung aktualisasi diri mahasiswa meliputi motivasi internal dan dukungan sosial dari lingkungan sekitar, sedangkan hambatan yang dihadapi diantaranya adalah rasa tidak percaya diri dan kekhawatiran terhadap penilaian sosial. TikTok memiliki potensi besar sebagai ruang aktualisasi diri dan media edukasi, apabila digunakan secara bijak dan terarah sesuai dengan nilai akademik dan sosial yang dianut mahasiswa PIPS UIN Malang.

This study aims to analyze self-actualization based on Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory on the TikTok platform among students of the Social Science Education Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research employs a qualitative approach using phenomenological methods. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving active TikTok users from the 2021 to 2024 student cohorts.

The results show that Social Science Education students at UIN Malang are divided into two main groups: creators and users. Students who act as content creators have reached the stage of self-actualization by creating TikTok content as a means of self-expression and creativity development. However, this form of self-actualization does not yet align with the expected graduate profile, as many of them have not utilized the platform for educational purposes relevant to their field of study. On the other hand, students who primarily act as users and do not produce content are considered not to have achieved self-actualization. Nevertheless, they tend to consume educational content that is in line with the graduate profile of the Social Science Education Program.

Supporting factors for student self-actualization include internal motivation and social support from the surrounding environment, while the obstacles faced include low self-confidence and social judgment. TikTok holds great potential as a space for self-actualization and educational media if used wisely and directed in accordance with the academic and social values upheld by Social Science Education students.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل تحقيق الذات وفقًا لنظرية التسلسل الهرمي للاحتياجات لأبراهام ماسلو على منصة تيك توك لدى طلاب قسم تعليم العلوم الاجتماعية بجامعة مولانا مالك إبراهيم الإسلامية الحكومية مالانج. استخدم هذا البحث منهجًا نوعيًا مع طريقة الظواهر. تم جمع البيانات من خلال المقابلات والملاحظات والتوثيق مع الطلاب النشطين مستخدمي تيك توك من دفعات 2021 حتى 2024

أظهرت نتائج البحث أن طلاب تعليم العلوم الاجتماعية بجامعة مولانا مالك إبراهيم مالانج ينقسمون إلى مجموعتين رئيسيتين، وهما صانعو المحتوى والمستخدمون. أظهر الطلاب الذين يعملون كصانعي محتوى أنهم قد حققوا مستوى تحقيق الذات من خلال إنشاء محتوى على تيك توك كوسيلة للتعبير عن الذات وتطوير الإبداع. ومع ذلك، فإن هذا التحقيق للذات لا يتماشى بعد مع ملف الخريجين المتوقع، لأن العديد منهم لم يستخدموا المنصة لأغراض تعليمية تتناسب مع مجال التربية. من ناحية أخرى، فإن الطلاب الذين يقتصر دورهم على استخدام تيك توك دون إنشاء محتوى لم يصلوا بعد إلى مستوى تحقيق الذات، لكنهم يميلون إلى الوصول إلى محتوى تعليمي يتماشى مع ملف خريج قسم تعليم العلوم الاجتماعية

تشمل العوامل التي تدعم تحقيق الذات لدى الطلاب الدوافع الداخلية والدعم الاجتماعي من البيئة المحيطة، في حين تشمل العقبات التي يواجهونها عدم الثقة بالنفس والقلق من تقييم المجتمع. تتمتع منصة تيك توك بإمكانات كبيرة كمساحة لتحقيق الذات ووسيلة تعليمية إذا تم استخدامها بحكمة وبتوجيه يتماشى مع القيم الأكاديمية والاجتماعية التي يلتزم بها طلاب تعليم العلوم الاجتماعية.
