ABSTRACT

For some time, the conflict between Palestine and Israel has been the subject of global political discussion. Since 1917, the United States has been one of the countries that has made Israel stronger by supporting Israeli rule. There was a power competition between the Jewish state and the Arab-Islamic state which led to this war. The purpose of this research is to determine the meaning of these Instagram posts. The focus of the research is the Instagram posts that are the subject of the research, which focuses on the analytical semiotics of Charles William Morris in its semantic aspect. With research limitations, namely Instagram posts @hajjaj_cartoons in the December period. These matters are studied in qualitative descriptive research techniques using several techniques, namely (1) reading techniques, (2) note-taking techniques, (3) data collection. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman technique which consists of (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) drawing conclusions. Among the results of this research are: the State of Palestine is being attacked by the state of Israel, the injustice of the Arab government towards the people of Gaza during the war in Gaza, missile attacks that have been sent by the United States to the Gaza region. Then written in the bubble are words such as "لا دليل علي قتل متعمد للمدنيين من قبل إسرائيل" which means "There is no evidence of intentional killing of civilians by Israel" this proves that the United States took part in helping Israel's attack on the Gaza region , a soldier who was giving torture to a living creature, namely a tree, many insults from Israel towards the hostages or prisoners in northern Gaza. With the position of the army enjoying the suffering of the prisoners, arranging several corpses shaped like the symbol of the United Nations, Christmas day arrived, there was no living creature to celebrate it, to give a signal to stop. Selama beberapa waktu, konflik antara Palestina dan Israel telah menjadi subjek diskusi politik global. Sejak tahun 1917, Amerika Serikat menjadi salah satu negara yang menjadikan Israel lebih kuat dengan mendukung kekuasaan Israel. Ada persaingan kekuasaan di antara negara Yahudi dan negara Arab-Islam yang menyebabkan perang ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan makna dari posting Instagram tersebut. Fokus penelitian adalah posting Instagram yang menjadi subjek penelitian, yang berfokus pada semiotika analitis Charles William Morris dalam aspek semantiknya. Dengan batasan penelitian yaitu postingan Instagram @hajjaj_cartoons pada priode Desember. Hal-hal tersebut dikaji dalam teknik penelitian dekriptif kualitatif dengan mengggunakan beberapa teknik yaitu (1) teknik baca, (2) teknik catat, (3) pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan. Diantara hasil penelitian ini yaitu: Negara Palestina sedang diserang oleh negara Israel, adanya ketidakandilan pemerintahan Arab kepada rakyat Gaza pada kejadian perang di Gaza, Serangan rudal yang telah di kirimkan oleh negara Amerika Serikat kepada wilayah Gaza. Kemudian tertulis didalam gelembung perkataan seperti "لا دليل علي قتل متعمد للمدنيين من قبل إسرائيل" yang memiliki arti "Tidak ada buktinya pembunuhan yang disengaja terhadap warga sipil oleh Israel" ini membuktikan bahwa negara Amerika Serikat ikut andil membantu serangan Israel terhadap wilayah Gaza, seorang tentara yang sedang memberikan penyiksaan terhadap sebuah makhluk hidup yaitu pohon, banyak penghinaan dari Israel terhadap para sandra atau tahanan yang ada di utara Gaza. Dengan posisi tentara yang sedang senang diatas penderitaan para tahanan tersebut, mengkiyaskan susunan beberapa jenazah yang dibentuk seperti lambang PBB, hari natal tiba, tidak ada seorang pun makhluk hidup yang dapat merayakannya, untuk memberi isyarat agar berhenti.
