يهاجرون مهاجرو الشرق الأوسط إلى أوروبا بسبب عدم الاستقرار الجيوسياسي والأزمات الإنسانية في البلدان العربية. إحدى الروايات التي تناقش هذه الظاهرة هي رواية ”بريد الليل“ لهدى بركات. يبحث هذا البحث في تمثيل مهاجرو الشرق الأوسط وتأثيرهم على الروايات الاجتماعية والثقافية في رواية ”بريد الليل“ لهدى بركات وفقا للتاريخية الجديدة ستيفن جرينبلات. نوع هذا البحث هو نوعى وصف. مصدر البيانات الأساسي في هذا البحث هو رواية ”بريد الليل“ لهدى بركات، التي نشرتها دار الأداب في بيروت، لبنان، عام 2018 بسمك 128 صفحة. استخدم مصادر البيانات الثانوية الكتب والمقالات العلمية والتقارير التي تناقش التاريخ الجديد ومهاجرو الشرق الأوسط. استخدم تقنيات جمع البيانات تقنيات القراءة وتدوين الملاحظات. استخدم تقنيات التحقق من صحة البيانات التثليث والمناقشة. استخدم تقنيات تحليل البيانات تقليل البيانات وعرض البيانات والاستنتاج. نتائج هذا البحث هي: (1) تمثيل مهاجرو الشرق الأوسط في رواية ”بريد الليل“ لهدى بركات بحسب تاريخانية جديدة ستيفان جرينبلات: أ) على أساس التشكيل الذات مهاجرو الحرب والعمال مهاجرو ن والعمال غير الشرعيين وشخص بلا مأوى؛ ب) على أساس ارتجال السلطة بما في ذلك الصحفي معارضة والصحفي مؤيد للديمقراطية؛ ج) على أساس الحراك الثقافي يشمل الأشخاص الذين يعيشون مع الأحبائهم والمشتغل بالجنس التجاري. (2) يؤثر تمثيل مهاجرو الشرق الأوسط على الروايات الاجتماعية والثقافية، وهي: أ) السرد السياسي للسلطة يشمل المظاهرات وقيود الاتصال والحرب، ب) يشمل السرد الاقتصادي انخفاض قيمة العملة وصعوبة العثور على عمل، ج) السرد الاجتماعي يشمل يستمر وصول المهاجرون والمساعدات الإنسانية، د) تشمل الروايات الثقافية ثقافة زواج الأطفال.

ABSTRACT

Middle Eastern immigrants immigrate to Europe due to geopolitical instability and humanitarian crises in Arab countries. One novel that discusses this phenomenon is the novel "Barid al-Lail" by Hoda Barakat. This research examines the representation of Middle Eastern immigrants and their influence on social and cultural narratives in the novel "Barid al-Lail" by Hoda Barakat according to new historicism Stephen Greenblatt. This research is qualitative-descriptive. The primary data source is the novel "Barid al-Lail" by Hoda Barakat, published by Dar al-Adab in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2018 with 128 pages. Secondary data sources use books, scientific articles, and reports discussing new historicism and Middle Eastern immigrants. Data collection techniques use reading and note-taking. Data validation uses triangulation and discussion. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research are (1) Representation of Middle Eastern immigrants in the novel “Barid al-Lail” by Hoda Barakat according to New Historicism Stephen Greenblatt: a) Based on self-fashioning as war immigrants, migrant workers, illegal workers, homeless people, b) Based on improvisation of power as oppositionists, pro-democracy journalists, c) Based on cultural mobility as people living with loved ones, and commercial sex workers; (2) The representation of Middle Eastern immigrants influences social and cultural narratives, namely: a) The political narrative of power includes demonstrations, communication restrictions, and war, b) The economic narrative includes currency depreciation and difficulty finding work, c) The social narrative includes migrants who continue to arrive and humanitarian aid, d) The cultural narratives include the culture of child marriage.

ABSTRAK

Imigran Timur Tengah berimigrasi ke Eropa karena ketidakstabilan geopolitik dan krisis kemanusiaan di negara-negara Arab. Salah satu novel yang membahas fenomena ini adalah novel “Barid al-Lail” karya Hoda Barakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji representasi imigran Timur Tengah dan pengaruhnya terhadap narasi sosial dan narasi kebudayaan dalam novel “Barid al-Lail” karya Hoda Barakat menurut new historicism Stephen Greenblatt. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif-deskriptif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah novel “Barid al-Lail” karya Hoda Barakat yang diterbitkan oleh Dar al-Adab di Beirut, Lebanon, pada 2018 dengan tebal 128 halaman. Sumber data sekunder menggunakan buku, artikel ilmiah, dan laporan yang membahas new historicism dan imigran Timur Tengah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi dan diskusi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Representasi imigran Timur Tengah dalam novel “Barid al-Lail” karya Hoda Barakat menurut New Historicism Stephen Greenblatt: a) Berdasarkan self-fashioning meliputi imigran perang, pekerja migran, pekerja ilegal, dan gelandangan, b) Berdasarkan improvisation of power meliputi oposisi dan jurnalis pro-demokrasi, c) Berdasarkan cultural mobility meliputi orang yang hidup dengan orang yang dicintai dan pekerja seks komersial; (2) Representasi imigran Timur Tengah mempengaruhi narasi sosial dan budaya, yaitu: a) Narasi politik kekuasaan meliputi demonstrasi, pembatasan komunikasi, dan perang, b) Narasi ekonomi meliputi depresiasi mata uang dan kesulitan mencari pekerjaan, c) Narasi sosial meliputi imigran yang terus berdatangan dan bantuan kemanusiaan, d) Narasi budaya meliputi budaya pernikahan anak.
