رحلة البطل هي نظرية طورها جوزيف كامبل لتحليل مراحل التحول إلى بطل. بعد أن ابتكر كامبل نظرية مراحل البطل، أجرى العديد من الباحثين أبحاثًا باستخدام هذه النظرية. يستخدم هذا البحث أيضًا نظرية البطل جوني التي تمر بسبعة عشر مرحلة ليصبح بطلًا حقيقيًا، وموضوع البحث هو قصة الأطفال السندباد البحري للكاتب كامل الكيلاني. هذا البحث عبارة عن دراسة متعددة التخصصات باستخدام نظرية رحلة البطل لجوزيف كامبل. الهدف من هذا البحث هو إثبات وتعزيز أن الشخصية الرئيسية سندباد هي شخصية اجتازت بنجاح مراحل التحول إلى بطل. مصدر البيانات المستخدم هو قصة الأطفال سندباد البحري للكاتب كامل كيلاني. تستخدم تقنيات جمع البيانات تقنيات القراءة، وتقنيات الترجمة، وتقنيات تدوين الملاحظات. وتستخدم تقنية تحليل البيانات ثلاث خطوات، وهي تقليل البيانات، وعرض البيانات، واستخلاص النتائج. تظهر نتائج هذا البحث نقطتين هما: (1) الكشف عن البنية في قصة أطفال السندباد البحري بما في ذلك: الموضوع والشخصيات والتوصيف والحبكة والرسالة (2) إثبات أن السندباد قد اجتاز بنجاح مراحل التحول إلى بطل. باجتياز نداء المغامرة، رفض الدعوة، المعونة الخارقة للطبيعة، عبور العتبة، بطن الحوت، طريق التجارب، تكفير الأب، التألت، النعمة القصوى، عبور عتبة العودة، سيد العالمين، حرية العيش.

Teori Hero Journey adalah kerangka konseptual yang dikembangkan oleh Joseph Campbell untuk menganalisis perjalanan atau tahapan yang dialami oleh seorang pahlawan dalam cerita naratif. Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan teori Hero Journey yang dikembangkan oleh Joseph Campbell dalam menganalisis tahapan perkembangan seorang pahlawan. Dalam konteks ini, peneliti menggunakan cerita anak "Sindibad al Bahri" karya Kamil Kailani sebagai objek penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah kajian interdisipliner yang mengintegrasikan teori Hero Journey dengan cerita Sindibad. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan dan menguatkan bahwa tokoh utama, Sindibad, dapat diidentifikasi sebagai pahlawan yang berhasil melewati tahapan-tahapan menjadi seorang pahlawan seperti yang terdapat dalam teori Hero Journey Joseph Campbell. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah cerita anak "Sindibad al Bahri" karya Kamil Kailani. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui teknik membaca, tarjamah, dan pencatatan. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua point penting, yaitu: (1) Mengungkap struktur yang ada dalam cerita anak sindibad Al Bahri meliputi: Tema, tokoh dan penokohan, latar alur dan amanat (2) Pembuktian bahwasannya sindibad berhasil melewati tahapan menjadi seorang pahlwan dengan melewati Call to Adventure, Refusal of the call, Supranatural aid, the crossing of the threshold, the belly of the whale, the road of trials, atonement with the father, aphoteosis, the ultimate boon, the crossing of the return threshold, master of two worlds, freedom to live.

ABSTRACT

Hero Journey Theory is a conceptual framework developed by Joseph Campbell to analyze the journey or stages experienced by a hero in a narrative story. This research discusses the application of the Hero Journey theory developed by Joseph Campbell in analyzing the stages of a hero's development. In this context, researchers use the children's story "Sindibad al Bahri" by Kamil Kailani as the research object. This research is an interdisciplinary study that integrates the Hero Journey theory with the Sindibad story. The main aim of this research is to prove and strengthen that the main character, Sindibad, can be identified as a hero who successfully passed the stages of becoming a hero as contained in Joseph Campbell's Hero Journey theory. The data source used is the children's story "Sindibad al Bahri" by Kamil Kailani. Data collection methods in this research were carried out through reading, tarjamah and note-taking techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out in three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show two important points, namely: (1) Revealing the structure in Sindibad Al Bahri's children's story including: Theme, characters and characterization, plot setting and message (2) Proving that Sindibad succeeded in passing the stages of becoming a hero by passing the Call to Adventure, Refusal of the call, Supernatural aid, the crossing of the threshold, the belly of the whale, the road of trials, atonement with the father, aphoteosis, the ultimate boon, the crossing of the return threshold, master of two worlds , freedom to live.
