Multicultural values through expressive speech act in Anies Baswedan's interview sessions with The Jakarta Post

Multiculturalism always becomes a major issue to be discussed in this country because Indonesia is a beautiful land of diversity. Therefore, this study aims to identify types of expressive speech act and describe the representation of multicultural values through the use of expressive speech act in interview sessions of Anies Baswedan with The Jakarta Post. This study used qualitative method. The research data was gained from transcribing three videos of the interview sessions. This study applied theory of expressive speech act by Searle (1976) to analyse the data. Research findings show that there are five out six types of expressive speech acts that appear; expressive speech act of thanking 4 data, expressive speech act of congratulating 1 data, expressive speech act of greeting 1 data, expressive speech act of wishing 5 data, and expressive speech act of attitude 7 data. The type of expressive speech act that appears the most is the expressive speech act of attitude that contains criticism and complaints. This is intended to show disapproval and discomfort with the opinions or attitudes of others who often judge him as an intolerant or primordial figure. Through the use of expressive speech acts, Anies Baswedan implies to show multicultural values such as social justice, equality, responsibility, and uphold peace as a candidate and governor of the city of Jakarta.

Multikulturalisme selalu menjadi isu yang hangat untuk diperbincangkan dalam kehidupan di negeri ini karena Indonesia adalah negeri yang kaya akan keberagaman. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tindak tutur ekspresif dan mendeskripsikan representasi nilai-nilai multikultural melalui penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif dalam tiga sesi interview Anies Baswedan dengan The Jakarta Post. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara mentranskrip tiga video sesi interview. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori tindak tutur ekspresif Searle (1976) untuk menganalisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima jenis dari enam jenis tindak tutur ekspresif yang muncul yaitu; tindak tutur ekspresif untuk mengucap terimakasih 4 data, tindak tutur ekspresif untuk ucapan selamat 1 data, tindak tutur ekspresif untuk sambutan 1 data, tindak tutur ekspresif untuk keinginan 5 data, dan tindak tutur ekspresif untuk bersikap 7 data. Jenis tindak tutur ekspresif yang paling banyak muncul adalah tindak tutur ekspresif sikap yang mengandung kritik dan komplain. Hal ini bermaksud untuk menunjukkan ketidaksetujuan dan ketidaknyamanan terhadap opini atau sikap orang lain yang seringkali menilai Anies Baswedan memiliki sikap intoleransi atau primordialisme. Melalui penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif, Anies Baswedan menyiratkan untuk menunjukkan nilai-nilai multikultural seperti keadilan sosial, kesetaraan, tanggung jawab, dan menjunjung tinggi kedamaian sebagai seorang kandidat dan gubernur kota Jakarta.

لطالما كانت التعددية الثقافية قضية ساخنة يجب مناقشتها في الحياة في هذا البلد لأن إندونيسيا بلد غني بالتنوع. لذلك ، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد أنواع أفعال الكلام التعبيرية ووصف تمثيل القيم متعددة الثقافات من خلال استخدام أفعال الكلام التعبيرية في ثلاث جلسات مقابلة مع أنيس باسويدان مع جاكرتا بوست. استخدمت هذه الدراسة الأساليب النوعية حيث تم أخذ بيانات البحث من نص ثلاث جلسات مقابلة. استخدمت هذه الدراسة تحليل الوثائق لتحليل البيانات. تظهر نتائج البحث أن هناك خمسة أنواع من ستة أنواع من أفعال الكلام التعبيرية التي تظهر ، وهي ؛ يعمل الكلام التعبيري على شكر 4 بيانات ، وأفعال الكلام التعبيري لخطاب التهنئة 1 بيانات ، وأفعال الكلام التعبيري للتحية 1 بيانات ، وأفعال الكلام التعبيري للرغبات 5 بيانات ، وأفعال الكلام التعبيري للتصرف 7 بيانات. نوع فعل الكلام التعبيري الذي يظهر أكثر هو فعل الكلام التعبيري ، وهو موقف يحتوي على النقد والشكاوى. يهدف هذا إلى إظهار الرفض وعدم الراحة من آراء أو مواقف الآخرين الذين غالبا ما يحكمون عليهم بأن لديهم بدائية. من خلال استخدام أفعال الكلام التعبيرية ، يعني أنيس باسويدان إظهار قيم متعددة الثقافات مثل العدالة الاجتماعية والمساواة والمسؤولية ودعم السلام كمرشح وحاكم لمدينة جاكرتا.
