Abstract
INDONESIA:
Perilaku konsumtif dapat terjadi apabila seseorang membeli suatu barang diluar kebutuhannya. Perilaku konsumtif muncul dikarenakan adanya beberapa faktor. Salah satu faktor penentunya adalah gaya hidup dan konformitas. Tujuan dti penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh gaya hidup dan konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pakaian second branded pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi UIN Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa fakultas psikologi UIN Malang angkatan 2021 sejumlah 247 mahasiswa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 71 mahasiswa.
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa sebesar 70,9% perilaku konsumtif dipengaruhi oleh variable gaya hidup dan konformitas. Hasil dari uji parsial t-test dan uji simultan uji f mendapatkan hasil bahwa gaya hidup dan konformitas berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pakaian second branded mahasiswa fakultas psikologi UIN Malang yang artinya bahwa semakin tinggi gaya hidup dan konformitas semakin tinggi pula tingkat perilaku konsumtif.
ENGLISH:
Consumptive behavior can occur if someone buys goods beyond their needs. Consumptive behavior arises due to several factors. One of the determining factors is lifestyle and conformity. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence lifestyle and conformity have on consumer behavior in second-hand branded clothing among psychology faculty students at UIN Malang.
This research uses quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis methods using SPSS version 22. The subjects in this research are students from the psychology faculty at UIN Malang class of 2021 with a sample of 71 students.
The results of this research are that the level of consumer behavior is at a high level of 100%. And the lifestyle level is 99% and the conformity level is 98%. The results of the partial t-test and simultaneous f test showed that lifestyle and conformity had an influence on consumptive behavior in second-branded clothing for psychology faculty students at UIN Malang, which means that the higher the lifestyle and conformity, the higher the level of consumptive behavior.
