Dialog: discovery of forest di tempat penimbunan kayu (TPK) Ploso Jombang dengan pendekatan Kontekstual

ABSTRAK:

Kabupaten Jombang merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah yang dapat dikembangkan sekaligus termasuk dalam sektor unggulan. Pada sektor kehutanan salah satunya adalah Tempat Penimbunan Kayu (TPK) Ploso yang memiliki potensi sejarah dan alamnya berupa peninggalan bekas jalur kereta pengangkut kayu dan lahan alaminya. Namun, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam pada pengembangan pariwisata harus didukung dengan bentuk pelestariannya juga, dikarenakan pada TPK tersebut belum maksimal dalam unsur penataan gelondongan kayu, aksesibilitas, dan fasilitasnya serta terdapat pihak-pihak tertentu yang menjadi penyebab kerusakan hutan. Oleh karena itu, dengan mempertimbangkan issu dan potensi yang dimiliki wilayah tersebut disusunlah DiaLOG: Discovery of Forest di Tempat Penimbunan Kayu (TPK) Ploso Jombang dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual. Discovery of Forest merupakan kawasan wisata bernuansa mini rimba dimana memiliki fungsi dan tujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada masyarakat sekitar dan wisatawan mengenai pentingnya menjaga dan melestarian alam yang telah ada sesuai dengan nilai keislaman yang diterapkan sekaligus dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Kabupaten Jombang dan dapat ikut mendongkrak APBD Pemerintah Daerah maupun Perum Perhutani Jombang. Hasil dari perancangan yang tercipta memperhatikan objek-objek disekitarnya, mampu menanggapi lingkungan sekitar, dan meningkatkan potensi sejarah serta lanskap di lahan TPK tersebut, sehingga pengunjung dapat merasakan pengalaman berpetualang dengan terus terlibat dengan habitat alami dan menjadikan mereka tetap terhubung dengan alam (DiaLOG).

ABSTRACT:

Jombang Regency is one of the regencies in East Java Province which has abundant natural resources that can be developed and included in the leading sector. In the forestry sector, one of them is the Ploso Timber Stockpiling Site (TPK), which has historical and natural potential in the form of a relic of the former timber transport railroad and its natural land. However, the use of natural resources in tourism development must be supported by a form of conservation as well, because the TPK has not been maximized in terms of log arrangement, accessibility, and facilities and certain parties are the cause of forest damage. Therefore, taking into account the issues and potentials of the area, a DiaLOG: Discovery of Forest in Ploso Jombang Timber Stockpiling Sites (TPK) with a Contextual Approach was compiled. The Discovery of Forest is a tourist area with a mini jungle nuance that has the function and purpose of providing knowledge to the local community and tourists about the importance of protecting and preserving the existing nature by applying Islamic values at the same time being able to improve the economy of the people of Jombang Regency and being able to participate in boosting the APBD of the Regional Government and Perum Perhutani Jombang. The result of the design that is created pays attention to the surrounding objects, is able to respond to the surrounding environment, and enhances the historical and landscape potential of the TPK land, so that visitors can experience an adventurous experience by continuing to engage with natural habitats and keep them connected to nature (DiaLOG).
