Index Card Match is a method where the student should look for the pair between the questions and answers that conducted by two students. Index Card Match is used for learning in order the Arabic Language learning process can be more effective. Vocabularies learning is a process of transferring learning materials in the form of words in Arabic Language Learning. Vocabularies is one of the important language unsure because it can define the ability of students to increase their language skill. However, what was happened in Kindergarten Muslimat Nahdhatul Ulama Malang is that students feel many difficulties in Arabic Language learning. It happens because of less of learning media to transfer learning materials, especially in vocabularies. Thus, the researcher tries to make an experiment in this school by implementing Index Card Match.
Based on the background of this study, so that the formulations of the problems are: 1) How to implement Index Card Match? 2) How the effectiveness of implementing Index Card Match to learn about vocabularies in Muslimat Nahdhlatul Ulama Kindergarten Malang? While the purposes of this study are: 1) To know the way to implement Index Card Match; 2) To know the effectiveness of implementing Index Card Match in Muslimat Nahdhlatul Ulama Kindergarten Malang. In this study, the researcher uses the quantitative approach by experiment. The sample of this study is all student from class A for experiment, and class B for controlled class by implementing pre-test and post-test. While the instruments for this study are interview, observation, and test.
The results of this study are; 1) The researcher implements Index Card Match to improve students’ vocabularies in the experiment class. Based on the observation and interview conducted after the research, students says that they feel happy, not bored, and easy to understand the vocabularies. 2) The method that implemented by the researcher gives a great impact. It can be proved by checking the score comparison from experiment class and controlled class after post test was conducted, that is the t0 in this study is 3.35 higher than t-test score on the level 5% (1,68) and the result of moral estimation is 1% (2.40).
