Abstract
ABSTRAK
Cita-cita luhur para tokoh bangsa pejuang negara Indonesia adalah mewujudkan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya lahir dan batin. Pemerintah melalui PP Nomor 55 Tahun 2007 tentang Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan, pada bab II pasal 2 dinyatakan bahwa pendidikan agama berfungsi membentuk manusia Indonesia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berakhak mulia dan mampu menjaga kedamaian dan kerukunan hubungan antar umat beragama dan pendidikan agama.
Berdasarkan dari realita yang ada pada dunia pendidikan, bahwasanya pendidikan agama kurang maksimal, sehingga yang melatar belakangi penulis untuk menerapkan metode The Power Of Two guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
Dalam penelitian ini dapat dirumuskan (1) Bagaimana proses penerapan metode The Power Of Two. (2) Bagaimanakah motivasi siswa dengan penerapan metode The Power Of Two. (3) Faktor apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan metode The Power Of Two dalam proses belajar.
Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu, (1) mengetahui proses penerapan The Power Of Two. (2) mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa dengan metode The Power Of Tewo. (3) mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung dari penerapan metode The Power Of Two.
Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) Pendekatan dan Jenis Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, pendekatan ini digunakan untuk menelusuri dari proses pembelajaran upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. (2) Kehadiran penelliti, (3) Pengumpulan data: Teknik Observasi, Teknik Interview , dan Teknik Dokumentasi. (4) Teknik Analisa Data: Untuk menganalisa data yang bersifat kualitatif penulis menggunakan tekhnik analisa deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian dari penerapan metode The Power Of Two tidak bisa dilihat dengan satu/dua siklus saja, akan tetapi banyak siklus, karena proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan proses kemampuan siswa. Selama empat siklus, peneliti berhasil membangun motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Berdasarkan dari rata-rata nilai yang dijadikan tolak ukur oleh peneliti adalah 85. Ternyata dari 29 siswa /14 kelompok, yang dapat nilai 85 hanya 5 kelompok/10 siswa. Dan yang mendapatkan nilai 100 sebanyak 9 kelompok/18 siswa. Berdasarkan dari hasil nilai kerja kelompok siswa, proses pembelajaran dengan metode The Power Of Two berhasil diterapkan guna membangun motivasi belajar siswa dibidang pendidikan agama Islam.
ABSTRACT
Noble ideals of the warrior leaders of Indonesia are to achieve full human and spiritual birth. Government through the government regulation Number 55 Year 2007 on Religious Education and Religious Education, in chapter II, verse 2 stated that religious education serves Indonesian human form of faith and pious to God the Almighty and have certain character and also capable of maintaining peace and harmony and inter- religious and religious education.
Based on the realities in the world of education, religious education less than the maximum, so that the background of the writer to apply the power of two methods to enhance students' motivation.
In this research can be formulated (1) what is the process of application of The Power of Two. (2) How it motivated students with the application of The Power of Two. (3) What Factors became a supporters and obstacles in the implementation of The Power of Two methods in the learning process.
This research has some goals are (1) understand the process of implementation of The Power of Two. (2) Knowing the students' motivation by using The Power of Two. (3) Knowing the factors inhibiting and supporting the implementation of the method of The Power of Two.
The methods applied in this study include (1) Approach and Types: The study was conducted with qualitative descriptive approach; this approach is used to track the learning process to increase student motivation. (2) Attendance of researcher, (3) Data collection: Observation Techniques, Interview Techniques, and Documentation techniques. (4) Techniques of Data Analysis: To analyze the qualitative data the researcher uses descriptive analysis techniques.
The results of the implementation of The Power of Two methods can not be seen with one or two cycles only, but many cycles because the process of learning to run with the ability of students. During the four cycles, the researcher managed to develop students' motivation in learning. According to the standard value used as benchmarks by the researcher is 85. Apparently of the 29 students / 14 groups, which can only 5 groups/10 students get 85. And who gets of 100 by 9 groups/18 students. Based on the results of the student group work, learning with The Power of Two methods successfully applied in order to build students' motivation in the field of Islamic religious education.
