Pengaruh perilaku ber-make up terhdap penerimaan diri pada mahasiswi Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang

Penerimaan diri adalah sikap positif terhadap diri sendiri, dapat menerima keadaan dirinya secara tenang, dan memiliki kesadaran penuh kepada siapa dan apa diri mereka, dan dapat menghargai diri sendiri dan orang lain. Perilaku ber-make up adalah aktivitas merias wajah atau memberikan polesan warna pada wajah agar terlihat cantik dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku ber-make up terhadap penerimaan diri pada mahasiswi Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis asosiatif kausal dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan total jumlah subjek sebanyak 184 mahasiswi penelitian ini peneliti memakai memakai alat ukur yang peneliti kembangkan sendiri dari teori perilaku menurut Andarati dan Sukarto (2019) untuk variabel perilaku ber- make up dan skala berdasarkan aspek penerimaan diri menurut Jersild (1963) untuk variabel penerimaan diri.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mahasiswi Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang mendapatkan persentase perilaku ber - make up dengan mayoritas sedang dengan persentase sebanyak 57,6 % dan persentase penerimaan diri sebesar 71,2%, hasil uji regresi sederhana pada penelitian ini terdapat adanya hubungan positif dengan nilai koefisien 0,103 antara variabel perilaku ber- make up terhadap variabel penerimaan diri, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi perilaku ber-make up yang didapatkan maka semakin tinggi penerimaan diri pada mahasiswi Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Sumbangan efektif diberikan nilai R square, yaitu .029. Artinya variabel perilaku ber- make up mempunyai hubungan pada variabel penerimaan diri sebesar 2,9%, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain, yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini.

Self-acceptance is a positive attitude towards oneself, being able to accept oneself calmly, and having full awareness of who and what they are, and being able to respect oneself and others. Make-up behavior is the activity of applying make-up or giving color to the face to make it look beautiful and attractive.
This study aims to determine the effect of make-up behavior on self-acceptance in students of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, this study uses a quantitative approach with causal associative analysis with sampling using purposive sampling technique with a total number of subjects as many as 184 female students. the measuring instrument that the researcher developed himself from the behavioral theory according to Andarati and Sukarto (2019) for the make-up behavior variable and the scale based on the aspect of self-acceptance according to Jersild (1963) for the self-acceptance variable.
The results showed that the students of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang got the percentage of make-up behavior with a moderate majority with a percentage of 57.6% and a percentage of self-acceptance of 71.2%, the results of the simple regression test in this study there was a positive relationship with a coefficient value of 0.103 between the variables of make-up behavior and self-acceptance, it can be concluded that the higher the make-up behavior obtained, the higher the self-acceptance of students at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The effective contribution is given the value of R square, which is .029. This means that the make-up behavior variable has a relationship with the self-acceptance variable of 2.9%, while the rest is influenced by other factors, which were not examined in this study.
