Banyaknya penggunaan kosmetik yang dibutuhkan oleh semua kalangan, dan bukan lagi sekedar kebutuhan jangka pendek namun jangka panjang yang sifatnya terus-menerus. produksi kosmetik yang pada umumnya menggunakan bahan kimia dalam berbagai jenisnya memiliki dampak yang merugikan bagi kesehatan dan lingkungan. Permasalahan tersebut menginspirasi satu gagasan bahwa sebuah rencanaan bangunan komersial dalam produksi salah satu jenis kebutuhan masyarakat. Sangat perlu adanya sarana produksi salah satunya kosmetik organik baik dalam bahan dan proses pembuatannya. Pusat Perancangan Eco-Cosmetics dan Skin Care adalah satu objek yang sesuai untuk mewadahi kebutuhan konsumen salah satunya kosmetik yang organik, dan mengubah pola hidup masyarakat yang terbiasa mengkonsumsi produk berbahan dasar kimia beralih ke organik.

Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana rancangan Pusat Perancangan Eco-Cosmetics dan Skin Care yang mampu mewadai kebutuhan sehari-hari dengan produk baik bagi kesehatan dan tidak merusak alam dan bagaimana pula rancangan Pusat Perancangan Eco-Cosmetics dan Skin Care yang menerapkan tema Green Architecture dengan prinsip conserving energy, respect for user, respect for site, working with climate, minimizing for resource, dan holism dijadikan sebagai dasar pertimbangan dengan metode analisis sintesis yang dilakukan dengan proses perancangan.

Hasilnya berupa alternatif-alternatif desain rancangan yang akan dipertahankan salah satun dan juga menggabungkan beberapa untuk mendapatkan konsep dasar yang menjadi pedoman perancangan dengan mengaitkan dengan tema. Konsep dasar yang didapat akan diterapkan dalam konsep fungsi, konsep sirkulasi aktifitas, konsep tapak, konsep ruang, konsep bentuk, konsep utilitas, konsep struktur yang kemudian digunakan sebagai bahan perancangan.

The heavy use of cosmetics that are needed by all people, and not merely a short-term needs, but long-run constantly. Production of cosmetics in general use in various kinds of chemicals have an adverse impact on health and the environment. Those problems inspired the idea that a commercial building in the planning of the production of one type of community needs. Very need their production means one organic cosmetics in both the materials and the manufacturing process. Designing Eco-Center Cosmetics and Skin Care is one object corresponding to a customer needs one organic cosmetics, and changing lifestyle of the people who used to consume chemical-based products to go organic.

The problem is how the design center Design Eco-Cosmetics and Skin Care are able to provide the daily needs with the products good for health and does not harm the environment and how the design center Design Eco-Cosmetics and Skin Care that apply themes Green Architecture with the principle of conserving energy, respect for the user, respect for the site, working with climate, minimizing resource for, and holism serve as a basis for consideration by the method of synthesis of the analysis carried out by the design process.

The result is a design alternatives draft to be retained one and also combine several to get the basic concepts that guide the design by associating with the theme. The basic concept gained will be applied in the concept of a function, the concept of circulation activities, the site concept, the concept of space, the concept of form, the utility concept, the concept of structure which is then used as a design material.
