Abstract

ABSTRACT

An inventory system is an information system that manages transaction andinventory data in the warehouse. Companies engaged in production generallyrequire an inventory system. This study discusses the ability of the inventory systemto manage stock itemsusing the safety stock method and reorder point by measuringthe level of system usability. In this study, a usability test has been carried out bydistributing questionnaires to the company where the research was conducted. Fromthe results of the usability test, the effectiveness showed a value of 88.3%, thepercentage value was included in the"very good"level category. Meanwhile, inthe usability test, the efficiency showed a value of 87.29%, the percentage valuewas also included in the"very good"category. The usability test shows that 88.3%of the percentage value is also included in the"very good"category for the levelof user needs.

ABSTRAK

Sistem inventory adalah sistem informasi yang mengelola data transaksi dan persediaan dalam gudang. Perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi umumnya memerlukan sistem inventory. Penelitian ini membahas kemampuan sistem inventory pengelolaan stok barang dengan menggunakan metode safety stock dan reorder point dengan mengukur tingkat usebilitas sistem. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan uji usebilitas dengan menyebar kusioner kepada perusahaan tempat dimana penelitian dilakukan. Dari hasil uji usebilitas efektifitas menunjukkan nilai 88,3% nilai persentase tersebut termasuk dalam kategori tingkat “sangat baik”. Sedangkan dalam uji usebilitas efisiensi menunjukkan nilai 87,29% nilai persentasi tersebut juga termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dalam uji usebilitas menunjukkan nilai 88,3% nilai persentase tersebut juga termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” untuk tingkat kebutuhan pengguna.
