Abstract
INDONESIA:
Seiring dengan adanya Undang-Undang Nomor 40 tahun 2007 tentang Perseroan Terbatas Pasal 74 ayat (1), perusahaan – perusahaan mulai merespon dan mengimplementasikan tanggung jawab sosialnya kepada masyarakat dan lingkungan. Perusahaan dituntut untuk bertindak etis, beroperasi secara legal untuk meningkatkan ekonomi bersama dengan peningkatan kualitas hidup dari karyawan dan keluarga beserta masyarakat secara luas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan oleh PT. PG. Rajawali 1 unit PG. Krebet Baru Malang dan untuk mengetahui keefektifannya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program Corporate Social Responsibility pada PT. PG. Rajawali 1 unit PG. Krebet Baru. Serta mengukur keefektifan penerapan program–program tersebut. Data diperoleh dari wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Sedangkan subyek pada penelitian ini adalah penanggung jawab CSR, dan penanggung jawab Kesehatan, Keselamatan, Kerja dan Lingkungan (K3L) pada PG. Krebet Baru Malang, serta beberapa warga yang berada dilingkungan perusahaan.
Pelaksanaan Program Corporate Social Responsibility pada PT. PG. Rajawali 1 unit PG. Krebet Baru diantaranya Program dibidang pendidikan, program dibidang sarana prasarana umum, dan program dibidang sosial, merupakan komunikasi perusahaan dengan masyarakat dan lingkungan yang dapat meningkatkan hubungan baik dengan para stakeholdernya. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari besarnya manfaat yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat dan kecilnya konflik yang terjadi antara perusahaan dan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan Program Corporate Social Responsibility pada PT. PG. Rajawali 1 unit PG. Krebet Baru Malang efektif dan tepat sasaran.
ENGLISH:
Based on Law Number 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies, Article 74 paragraph (1), the companies begin to respond and implement its social responsibility to the community and the environment. Companies are required to act ethically and operate legally to increase the economy with an increase of the life quality of employees, their families and society broadly. This study is conducted to determine how the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility program performed by PT. PG. Rajawali 1 Unit Krebet Baru Malang works and to determine its effectiveness.
This is a qualitative descriptive study aims to describe the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in PT. PG. Rajawali 1, Unit of PG. Krebet Baru Malang. It also aims to measure the effectiveness of the programs implementation. The data are obtained through interviews, documentations and observations. The subjects of this study are the people in charge in CSR program, and the person in charge of Health, Safety, Work, and Environment (K3L) division in PG. Krebet Baru Malang, as well as some people within the company.
Some of the implementations of Corporate Social Responsibility Program in PT. PG. Rajawali 1, Unit of Krebet Baru Malang are education, public infrastructure, and social programs. Those are considered as the company's way in communicating with the community and environment to enhance good relationships with the stakeholders. It can be seen from the benefit scales gained by the public and the small conflicts happen between companies and communities. Thus, the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility Program at PT. PG. Rajawali 1 Unit of Krebet Baru Malang is effective and well targeted.
