Abstract
INDONESIA:
Setiap perusahaan harus mampu bertahan dan bersaing dengan perusahaan lainnya, salah satu caranya dengan meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya melalui peran kepemimpinan, motivasi dan pemberdayaan kepada karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk membuktikan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja dan pemberdayaan karyawan sebagai variabel intervening.
Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan metode jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 189 karyawan Perusahaan daerah Air Minum Lawu Tirta Magetan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan pendekatan sampling aksidental. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 109 karyawan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Smart PLS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja.
ENGLISH:
Every company must be able to survive and compete with other companies, one of the ways is by increasing the performance of their employees through the role of leadership, motivation and empowerment to employees. This study aims to prove the effect of transformational leadership style on employee performance through work motivation and employee empowerment as an intervening variable.
This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were 189 employees of the Lawu Tirta Magetan Drinking Water Company(PDAM). The sampling technique uses non probability sampling technique with accidental sampling approach. The sample used was 109 employees. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data in this study using Smart PLS.
The results showed that transformational leadership had a significant positive effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee performance through work motivation. Transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee performance through work motivation.
