Abstract
INDONESIA:
Menjamurnya hukuman sebagai cara paling mudah dalam penanganan ketertiban di sebuah lembaga pendidikan belum dapat dihilangkan seutuhnya. Dua penelitian yang bertolak belakang bahwa hukuman fisik berdampak positif dan negatif merupakan alasan bagi pengelola pendidikan. Anisa Siti Maryanti (skripsi, 2012) menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh besar antara pemberian hukuman fisik terhadap perilaku agresif. Berbeda dengan hasil penelitian Nur Lela dan Dr. Sukarti (2008) menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penggunaan metode disiplin "hukuman “ oleh orangtua dengan perilaku agresif fisik pada anak. Sedangkan langkah yang di ambil oleh pengurus Pondok Pesantren Kramat Pasuruan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pelanggaran berawal pada hukuman fisik, lalu denda, selanjutnya hukuman fisik yang bermanfaat untuk pesantren serta jiwa santri seperti membersihkan halaman pesantren, kamar mandi dan membaca al-qur’an. Oleh karena contoh hukuman ini menjadi penting untuk diteliti apakah dapat berpengaruh negatif atau positif pada kepatuhan santri baru.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan). Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 220 santri baru putra, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian yaitu 56 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan kuesioner atau angket.
Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pemberian hukuman pengurus pondok berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak hukuman dengan kategori T = 100%, S = 0%, R = 0%. Sedangkan tingkat kepatuhan berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori T = 100%, S = 0%, R= 0%. Hipotesis telah terjawab bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan pemberian hukuman terhadap kepatuhan diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,05 dengan taraf signifikan 0.000%.

The proliferation of punishment as a way of the most easily in the handling of student in educational institutions can not completely eliminated. two studies contrasting that physical punishment positive and negative impacts is the reason for education managers. While the steps taken by Boarding School board KramatPasuruan in completing violation begins at physical punishment,agomulct The next punishment Physical activity is beneficial for boarding and souls of students such as cleaning the boarding school yard,bathroom and read the Qur'an.Because the example punishment This becomes important for examination whether can be negative or positive effect in compliance with the new students.
The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach using correlation techniques and sampling techniques using purposive sampling.While the sample is 56 respondents.Methods of collecting data using questionnaires or questionnaire.
The results of this study showed that administration of punishment by the board cottage is in the category of Lightthe punishment shown in new students who violate the first and Medium categories, physical activity punishment given to new students who have committed an offense. The success of his sentence occupies the high category (T).The results showed that the effect of punishment to the success of the category T = 100%, S = 0%, R = 0%. While the obedience rate is in the high category. The results showed that the category T = 100%, S = 0%, R = 0%. Furthermore, that there is a significant relationship of punishment to compliance with the 0.05 value obtained with a significant level of 0.000%.
