Estimasi parameter model statistik nonlinier pada fungsi produksi Cobb-douglas secara maximum likelihood dengan iterasi method of scoring

Ekonometri berperan dalam mengestimasi parameter model statistik linier dan nonlinier. Model statistik nonlinier yang dijumpai dalam permasalahan ekonomi menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas mempunyai tiga variabel, yaitu jumlah produksi, tenaga kerja dan modal. Model statistik nonlinier pada fungsi yang digunakan tidak mudah diselesaikan secara analitik, sehingga harus ditransformasikan ke dalam bentuk linier menggunakan metode Maximum Likelihood dengan iterasi Method of Scoring. Pada iterasi Method of Scoring memodifikasi algoritma Newton Raphson dengan menggunakan nilai ekspektasi pada turunan kedua. Hasil dari estimasi parameter fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas secara Method of Scoring diimplementasikan pada data Industri Logam, Mesin, Tekstil dan Aneka (ILMTA) tahun 1993-2012 di provinsi Jawa Timur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa iterasi Method of Scoring belum cepat konvergen saat error 〖10〗^(-9).

Econometrics has a role in estimating the parameters of linier and nonlinier statistical models. Nonlinier statistical models in the economic problems used Cobb-Douglas production function. Cobb-Douglas production functions has three variabels, namely the quantity of product, labour and capital. Nonlinier statistical models used in the function is not easily solved analytically, so that sholud be tranformed into linear form of the Maximum Likelihood with using Method of Scoring iteration. Method of Scoring iteration modifies the Newton Raphson algorithm by using the expectations value of the second derivative. The results of the parameter estimation Cobb-Douglas production function in Method of Scoring iteration is implemented at the data of Metal Industry, Textiles and Various (ILMTA) of 1993-2012 in East Java province, that the parameter value by using the Method of Scoring iteration has not yet fast converged with error 〖10〗^(-9) .
