Abstract
INDONESIA:
Hasil belajar merupakan tingkah laku yang dapat diukur dengan tes tentang bidang yang dipelajari. Belajar merupakan proses berkesinambungan yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Proses belajar dan hasil belajar para siswa bukan saja ditentukan oleh sekolah, pola, struktur, dan isi kurikulumnya, akan tetapi sebagian besar ditentukan oleh kompetensi pedagogik guru yang mengajar dan membimbing mereka. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar diantaranya kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh positif signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil, (2) mengetahui pengaruh positif signifikan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh positif signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel secara acak ke seluruh siswa kelas VII dan VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 88 sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumen, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima karena diperoleh nilai Thitung > Ttabel (2,044 > 1,992) dan nilai signifikansi (0,044 < 0,05), artinya terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh atau tidak mempunyai pengaruh langsung yang positif signifikan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak karena diperoleh nilai Thitung <Ttabel (-1,120 < 1,992) dan nilai signifikansi (0,266> 0,05), artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan motivasi belajar siswa (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel motivasi belajar siswa tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil, dan (3) tidak terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) dan motivasi belajar siswa (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak karena diperoleh nilai Fhitung < Ftabel (2,110 < 3,103) dan nilai signifikansi (0,128> 0,05), artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh secara positif signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) dan motivasi belajar siswa (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) dan motivasi belajar siswa (X2) secara bersama-sama tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Bangil.
ENGLISH:
Learning outcomes are behaviors that can be measured by tests of the field. Study is a continuous process that lasts a lifetime. The learning process and learning outcomes of the students are not only determined by the school, the pattern, structure, and content of the curriculum, but determined by the pedagogic competencies of teachers who teach and guide them. The factors that influence learning outcomes include pedagogic competence of teachers and student learning motivation.
The purposes of this research are to: (1) know the significant positive effect of pedagogic competence of teachers against student learning outcomes on the integrated IPS Subjects at Public Junior High School (SMP N) 1 Bangil, (2) know the significant positive effect of students' learning motivation against student learning outcomes on the integrated IPS Subjects at Public Junior High School (SMP N) 1 Bangil, and (3) know the significant positive effect of pedagogic competence of teachers and student learning motivation against student learning outcomes on the integrated IPS Subjects at Public Junior High School (SMP N) 1 Bangil.
This research used quantitative approach with correlational descriptive research type. This research took a random sample to all students of class of VII and VIII at SMP N 1 Bangil of Academic Year of 2016/2017 which amounted to 88. The instrument of this research used questionnaires and documents, the data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis.
The results showed that, (1) there was a significant positive influence of pedagogic competence of teachers (X1) against student’s learning outcomes (Y) at SMP N 1 Bangil. This indicated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted because the value of Tcount> Ttable was (2.044> 1,992) and significance value was (0,044 <0,05) meant that there was significant positive influence of pedagogic competence of teacher (X1) against student learning outcomes (Y). So, it can be concluded that pedagogic competence of teacher variable (X1) had a significant positive effect in improving student learning outcomes (Y) at SMP N 1 Bangil, (2) there was no influence or no direct positive effect of student’s learning motivation against student learning outcomes at SMP N 1 Bangil. This indicated that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected because the value of Tcount<Ttable was (-1,120 <1,992) and significance value was (0,266> 0,05), meaning there was no significant positive effect of student's learning motivation (X2) against student learning outcomes ). So, it can be concluded that the variable of student's learning motivation had no significant positive effect in improving student’s learning outcomes at SMP N 1 Bangil, and (3) there was no influence between pedagogic competence of teachers (X1) and student’s learning motivation (X2) Y) at SMP N 1 Bangil. This indicated that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected because the value of Fcount<Ftable was (2,110 <3,103) and significance value was (0,128> 0,05) meant that there was no positive significant influence between pedagogic competence of teachers (X1) and student’s learning motivation (X2) against student’s learning outcomes (Y). So, it can be concluded that variable of pedagogic competence of teachers (X1) and student’s learning motivation (X2) did not have significant positive effect together in improving student’s learning outcomes (Y) at SMP N 1 Bangil.
