Abstract
ENGLISH:
The Development of Learning Tools on Similarity and Symmetry Topic are learning media in the form of Learning Tools so that students can demonstrate directly the learning content, especially similarity and symmetry topic. Development of Learning Tools on Similarity and Symmetry Topic are based on the learning problems that exist in the fifth grade of SDN Kedungmungal. These problems include (1) the difficulty of students to understand the similarity and symmetry topic, (2) lack of instructional media support, (3) learning outcomes are under KKM.
Based on the background of the problems outlined, The Development Learning Tools on Similarity and Symmetry Topic is necessary to recall these learning tools allows students to demonstrate directly the similarity and symmetry topic. With these learning tools students will play an active role in learning. So the learning process will more meaningful learning activities. This development aims to produce Learning Tools on Similarity and Symmetry Topic validly, effectively, and attractive to fifth grade students at SDN Kedungmungal.
This media development using the Borg and Gall development model. Subjects for assessing the feasibility of these learning tools are content experts, media design experts , Mathematics learning experts, practitioners. In field test involving fifth grade students of SDN Kedungmungal. A fundamental step in this research is the analysis of the initial conditions, the development of the design of learning tools, the manufacturing operations of learning tools and the assessment of learning tools and field test.
The results showed that learning tools on similarity and symmetry topic has a 91%level of content validity, 96% of design validity, 90% of learning of mathematics validity, 90% validity of learning in the classroom and the level of attractiveness of the subject of the trial against all the media components are 97.55%. Media has proven effective based on result calculation independent sample t test obtained t count (2.661) > t table (2.1225), While the level of the students use media appeal to all components reached 97.55% with a very good classification. Based on the overall results of data analysis, we can conclude that the Learning Tools on Similarity and Symmetry Topic have met the elements of a valid, effective and attractive to fifth grade students at SDN Kedungmungal.
INDONESIA:
Alat peraga kesebangunan dan simetri merupakan media pembelajaran yang berupa alat peraga sehingga siswa dapat memperagakan langsung materi pembelajaran geometri khususnya materi kesebangunan dan simetri. Pengembangan alat peraga materi kesebangunan dan simetri didasarkan pada permasalahan pembelajaran yang ada di kelas 5 SDN Kedungmungal. Permasalahan tersebut di antaranya (1) kesulitan siswa memahami materi kesebangunan, (2) tidak adanya media pembelajaran yang mendukung, (3) hasil belajar yang di bawah KKM.
Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan yang dipaparkan, pengembangan alat peraga materi kesebangunan dan simetri sangat perlu dilakukan mengingat dengan alat peraga ini siswa akan berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan alat peraga materi kesebangunan dan simetri yang valid, efektif, dan menarik untuk siswa kelas 5 SDN Kedungmungal.
Pengembangan media ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Subyek penilaian untuk penilaian kelayakan alat peraga ini yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, ahli pembelajaran matematika, dan praktisi. Pada uji coba lapangan subjek penilaian melibatkan siswa kelas V SDN Kedungmungal. Langkah pokok pada penelitian ini adalah analisis kondisi awal, pengembangan rancangan alat peraga, pelaksanaan pembuatan alat peraga, dan penilaian alat peraga serta uji coba alapangan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga kesebangunan dan simetri memiliki tingkat kevalidan materi 91%, kevalidan desain 96%, kevalidan pembelajaran matematika 90%, kevalidan pembelajaran di kelas 90%, dan tingkat kemenarikan subjek uji coba terhadap semua komponen media 97,55%.Media ini terbukti efektif berdasarkan hasil perhitungan independent sample t test diperoleh thitung(2,661)> ttabel (2,1225). Sedangkan tingkat daya tarik siswa menggunakan media terhadap semua komponen mencapai 97,55% dengan klasifikasi sangat baik. Berdasarkan keseluruhan hasil analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga materi kesebangunan dan simetri untuk kelas V SD telah memenuhi unsur valid, praktis efektif, dan menarik untuk siswa kelas V SDN Kedungmungal.
