Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pembelajaran full day school sebagai bentuk alternatif dalam upaya memperbaiki manajemen pendidikan, khususnya dalam manajemen pembelajaran, juga merupakan tuntunan kebutuhan masyarakat yang menghendaki anak dapat belajar dengan baik di sekolah dengan waktu belajar lebih lama. Sistem full day school merupakan model pembelajaran dengan penambahan waktu belajar siswa dari pagi sampai sore.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah: (1) proses penerapan full day school di SMP Negeri 13 Malang, (2) peran full day school dalam pembentukan kecerdasan ESQ (EQ & SQ) di SMP Negeri 13 Malang, (3) keunggulan dan kelemahan penerapan full day school di SMP Negeri 13 Malang.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas triangulasi. Analisis data yang digunkan adalah reduksi data, display data (penyajian data), mengambil kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) proses penerapan full day school di SMP Negeri 13 Malang adalah pembelajaran dari pagi hingga sore dan menggunakan lima hari efektif dari senin sampai jum’at, (2) peran full day school dalam pembentukan kecerdasan ESQ (EQ & SQ) di SMP Negeri 13 Malang adalah melaui kegiatan IMTAQ (Iman dan Taqwa) dan pendidikan karakter, dengan menggunakan indikator pencapaian dari unsur-unsur dan aspek-aspek kecerdasan ESQ (EQ & SQ) di antaranya mengenali emsoi diri, memotivasi diri sendiri, membina hubungan, spiritualitas-keagamaan dan sosial-keagmaan, jujur dan amanah, fatonah (3) keunggulan dan kelemahan penerapan full day shool di SMP Negeri 13 Malang berdasarkan keunggulan mampu membentuk karakter, bersahabat/komunikatif, meningkatkan kualitas ibadah, meningkatan kemampuan guru dan psikomotorik siswa, berdarsarkan kelemahan siswa lelah dan jenuh pada jam terakhir, dan terbentur dengan jadwal kegiatan di luar sekolah.
ENGLISH:
Full day school learning as an alternative form in improving education management, particularly in learning management, is a guide that people needs whose children want to learn well in school with longer study time. Full day school system is a model of learning with the addition of student learning time from morning until afternoon.
The focuses of this research are: (1) full day school implementation process at SMP Negeri 13 Malang, (2) full day school role in ESQ (EQ & SQ) formation in SMP Negeri 13 Malang, (3) advantages and weaknesses of full day school application in SMP Negeri 13 Malang.
The method for this research is using qualitative approach; which the data collection techniques obtained by doing in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity check of the data is by using triangulation credibility test. Analysis of data used are data reduction, display data (presentation of data), draw conclusions.
The results showed that, (1) the process of applying full day school in SMP Negeri 13 Malang is by studying starting from morning to afternoon and using five effective days from Monday to Friday, (2) The role of full day school in ESQ intelligence formation (EQ & SQ) in SMP Negeri 13 Malang is done through IMTAQ activities (Faith and Taqwa) and character education, using indicators of achievement of the elements and aspects of ESQ (EQ & SQ) intelligence of which recognize self emotion, self motivate, foster relationships, spirituality-religious and socio-religious, honest and trustworthy, fatonah (3) the advantages and disadvantages of applying full day school in SMP Negeri 13 Malang based on its virtue are students being able to form character, friendly / communicative, improving the quality of worship, increasing the ability of teachers and psychomotor students , based on the weaknesses students tend to get tired and saturated in the last hour, and they get collided schedule due to afterschool activities.
