Abstract
INDONESIA:
Toleransi beragama adalah pemberian kebebasan kepada sesama manusia untuk menganut dan menjalankan keyakinannya, serta memberikan ketenggangan, rasa saling menghormati dan menghargai terhadap segala sesuatu yang dijalankannya. Selama apa yang dijalankannya tidak melanggar ketertiban dan aturan-aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat. Salah satu upaya untuk memupuk rasa toleransi beragama adalah dengan menerapkan pendidikan multikultural, karena pendidikan pluralis-multikultural adalah model pendidikan yang dapat memberi sumbangsih terhadap penciptaan perdamaian dan upaya menanggulangi konflik yang menyinggung tentang perbedaan SARA yang ada di masyarakat. Sebab nilai dasar dari pendidikan ini adalah penanaman dan pembumian nilai toleransi, empati, simpati dan solidaritas sosial.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan pendidikan multikultural di Universitas Ma Chung, (2) menjelaskan toleransi beragama di Universitas Ma Chung, (3) mengukur, menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh pendidikan multikultural terhadap sikap toleransi beragama di Universitas Ma Chung
Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksplanasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara dan observasi. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana, memaparkan data dan menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan pendidikan multikultural di Universitas ini melalui pendekatan Kontributif dandengan 2 metode, pertama dengan mata kuliah dan kedua dengan OBOR. Rata-rata penanaman pendidikan multikultural di kalangan mahasiswa berada dalam kategori sangat baik, dengan skor 88-104 sebanyak 50,6% dan interval skor sebesar 4,28 (2) sikap toleransi beragama mahasiswa di universitas Ma Chung Malang tergolong tinggi, hal ini karena adanya kegiatan Lintas Iman pada tiap tahunnya Rata-rata sikap toleransi beragama di kalangan mahasiswa di Universitas Ma Chung Malang memperoleh skor 46,5% dan interval skor 4,19. (3) Uji hipotesis secara simultan memperoleh nilai fhitung sebesar 76,500. Artinya nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari nilai Ftabel (76,500>3,90). Sedangkan uji hipotesis secara parsial memperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 8,746 artinya nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel. (8,746>1,658). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural mempengaruhi sikap toleransi beragama mahasiswa di Universitas Ma Chung Malang

Religious tolerance is the freedom gift to human beings to embrace and live the beliefs, and to provide tension, mutual respect and respect for everything. As long as what it does not violate the public rules. One effort to create the religious tolerance is byapplying multicultural education, because pluralist-multicultural education is an educational model that can contribute to the creation of peace and the effort to overcome conflicts that pertain to the differences of SARA in the society. The basic value of this education is the planting and familiarize of tolerance values, empathy, sympathy and social solidarity.
The objectives of this research are to (1) explain multicultural education at Universityof Ma Chung, (2) explain the religious tolerance at Universityof Ma Chung, (3) measure, test and explain the effect of multicultural education on religious tolerance at University of Ma Chung.
This research used quantitative research approach with explanation quantitative research type. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews and observations. The data in this study were analyzed by simple linear regression, exposing the data and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicated that (1) the application of multicultural education in this University was through the contributive approach and with 2 methods, first, with course and second, with OBOR. The average of creating of multicultural educationamong students is in very good category, with a score of 88-104 as much as 50.6%. The scores are over theoretical scores of the variable of multicultural education among students. Therefore, the multicultural education at the University is very good (2) the attitude of religious tolerance of students in University ofMa Chung Malang is high, because of the activity of FaithCross in each year and the average attitude of religious tolerance among students at Universityof Ma Chung of Malang Obtained a score of 71-87 as many as 46.5% of students. The scores are over the average theoretical score of religious tolerance variable among students. Therefore, the tolerance in the university is high (3) hypothesis test simultaneously gets the value of f count of 76.500. Means that the value of Fcount is greater than the Ftable value (76,500> 3.90). The hypothesis test partially gets t-count value equal to 8,746. This means that the value of t countis greater than t table (8,746> 1,658). Based on these results, it was concluded that multicultural education influenced the attitude of religious tolerance of students at University of Ma Chung of Malang
