Abstract
INDONESIA:
Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim adalah wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan diri non akademik serta berorganisasi. Sebuah organisasi tentu saja memiliki seorang pemimpin untuk mengendalikan jalannya organisasi. Terdapat dua gaya kepemimpinan yang dijadikan dasar dalam penelitian ini, yaitu transformasional dan transaksional. Peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti bagaimana pengaruh terhadap macam-macam gaya kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen anggota organisasi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota UKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, yang diambil sebanyak 86 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional mayoritas dalam kategori sedang dengan prosentase 65,11% sebanyak 56 orang dan persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transaksional mayoritas berada pada kategori sedang dengan prosentase 63,95% sebanyak 55 orang; 2) tingkat komitmen anggota UKM mayoritas berada pada kategori sedang dengan prosentase 61,62% sebanyak 53 orang; 3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen anggota dengan nilai uji korelasi 0,448 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari α (0,05); 4) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dengan komitmen anggota dengan nilai uji korelasi 0,373. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional menyumbang 12,67% terhadap komitmen anggota sedangkan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional menyumbang sebesar 2,04% tehadap komitmen anggota, serta masih terdapat 85,29% pengaruh variabel lain terhadap komitmen anggota selain gaya kepemimpinan.

Students’Activity Unit of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim was a place for students to develop themselves on non-academic and organization.An organization certainly had a leader to control the course of the organization.There were two styles of leadership which served as the basis in this research, namely transformational and transactional.The researcher was interested in examining the influence of various styles of leadership to the commitment of members of the organization.
This research used quantitative approach. The subject of this research was member of SME of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which was taken as many as 86 people. The results of this research indicated that: 1) the perception of transformational leadership style majority was in medium category with percentage of 65,11% as many as 56 people and perception of transactional leadership style majority was in medium category with percentage 63,95% as many as 55 people; 2) the level of commitment of the majority of SME member was in the medium category with the percentage of 61.62% as many as 53 people; 3) there was a significant positive correlation between transformational leadership style with commitment of member with correlation test value of 0,448, the significance value of 0.000 was less than α (0,05); 4) there was a significant positive relationship between transactional leadership style and member commitment with correlation test value was 0.373. Transformational leadership style contributed 12.67% to the member commitments,and the transactional leadership style contributesd 2.04% to the member commitment, and there were still 85.29% of the influence of other variables against the member commitment of the leadership style.
