Pengaruh keterlibatan ayah terhadap resiliensi akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sering menghadapi berbagai tekanan akademik selama proses penyusunan skripsi yang dapat memengaruhi resiliensi akademik. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang diduga berperan dalam membentuk resiliensi akademik adalah keterlibatan ayah melalui dukungan, perhatian, dan bimbingan yang diberikan kepada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan ayah terhadap resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angkatan 2019-2022 yang sedang menyusun skripsi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angkatan 2019–2022 yang sedang menyusun skripsi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 375 responden yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Father Involvement Scale (FIS) untuk variabel keterlibatan ayah yang dikembangkan oleh (Finley & Schwartz, 2004) dan Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) untuk variabel resiliensi akademik yang dikembangkan oleh (Cassidy, 2016). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan software JASP versi 0.97.1

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan ayah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap resiliensi akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana, pengaruh tersebut signifikan dengan nilai p < 0,001 (p < 0,05), sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Keterlibatan ayah memberikan kontribusi terhadap resiliensi akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angkatan 2019–2022 yang sedang menyusun skripsi dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 37,4%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian.

Final-year students often face various academic pressures during the process of writing their undergraduate thesis, which may affect their academic
resilience. One external factor that is presumed to play a role in developing academic resilience is father involvement through the support, attention, and
guidance provided to their children. This study aimed to determine the influence of father involvement on the academic resilience of final-year students at Maulana
Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang from the 2019–2022 cohorts who were writing their undergraduate thesis.

This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The population consisted of active students at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang from the 2019–2022 cohorts who were writing their undergraduate thesis. A total of 375 respondents were selected using a convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using the Father Involvement Scale (FIS) to measure father involvement, developed by Finley and Schwartz (2004), and the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) to measure academic resilience, developed by Cassidy (2016). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of JASP version 0.97.1.

The results showed that father involvement had a positive influence on the academic resilience of final-year students. Based on the results of the simple linear regression analysis, the influence was statistically significant (p < .001); therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted. Father involvement contributed to the academic resilience of final-year students at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang from the 2019–2022 cohorts who were writing their undergraduate thesis, with a coefficient of determination of 37.4%, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study.
