Abstract

INDONESIA:

Indonesia sedang dihadapkan pada masalah pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satu jenis pencemar yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah limbah cair tahu. Limbah cair tahu mengandung polutan utama berupa zat organik. Zat organik limbah cair tahu dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pertumbuhan Chlorella sp. Chlorella sp. memiliki kadar lipid yang tinggi sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai penghasil biodiesel. Produk biodesel dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan kadar lipid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian konsentrasi limbah cair tahu terhadap pertumbuhan dan kadar lipid mikroalga Chlorella sp.

Rancangan Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan konsentrasi yaitu 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% dan kontrol. Parameter yang diamati adalah kelimpahan sel dan kadar lipid yang dihasilkan oleh Chlorella sp. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic One Way Anova, Apabila dari hasil analisis diperoleh nilai Fhitung > Ftabel, dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT dengan Taraf Signifikansi 5%.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan 0%, 15%, 20%, 25% dan 30% berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan dan kadar lipid Chlorella sp. Kelimpahan Chlorella sp. tertinggi dalam penelitian ini adalah pada konsentrasi limbah cair tahu 25% dengan nilai rata-rata 7.431.818. Sedangkan kadar lipid tertinggi pada konsentrasi limbah cair tahu 20% dengan persentase 30.388%

ENGLISH:

Indonesia is being faced by the environment pollution problem. One of the pollutions that researcher focuses on in this research is the liquid waste of tofu. The liquid waste of tofu contains pollutant that is organic substance. The organic substance of liquid waste of tofu can be made used for the growth media of Chlorella sp. Chlorella sp. contain the high content of lipid that can be a producer of biodiesel. Biodiesel product can be increased by increasing lipid degree. This research aims to explore the influence of adding the concentrate of liquid tofu waste on the growth and the lipid degree of microalgae Chlorella sp.

The research design used in this study is Random Complete Design with the concentrate treatment 15%, 20%, 25%,, 30% and control. The parameter that is observed is the abundance of cell and lipid degree that produced by Chlorella sp. The data is analyzed using One Way Anova statistic. If the result of analysis is Fcounting > Ftable,, the analysis is continued with BNT examination with significance level is 5%.

The result of researcher shows that the treatment on 0%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% influence the abundance and degree of lipid in Chlorella sp. The highest abundance of Chlorella sp in this research is obtained on concentration level of 25% with the average 7.431.818. While the highest lipid degree is on
concentration level of 20% with the percentage is 30.388%.
