Pengaruh relasi interpersonal dan harga diri terhadap pengalaman gaslighting oleh teman sebaya pada mahasiswa UIN Malang

Mahasiswa adalah kelompok yang rentan terhadap manipulasi psikologis dalam relasi sosial, salah satunya gaslighting oleh teman sebaya. Gaslighting merupakan bentuk manipulasi yang membuat korban meragukan persepsi, ingatan, dan kewarasannya sendiri sehingga berdampak serius terhadap kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat relasi interpersonal, harga diri, dan pengalaman gaslighting, serta pengaruh relasi interpersonal dan harga diri terhadap pengalaman gaslighting oleh teman sebaya pada mahasiswa UIN Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain regresi linier berganda. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang sejumlah 398 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tiga instrumen, yaitu skala Victim Gaslighting Questionnaire (VGQ), Relationship Assessment Scale, dan Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda, uji parsial (uji t), dan uji simultan (uji F) dengan bantuan SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang pada ketiga variabel, yaitu gaslighting (70,4%), relasi interpersonal (61,3%), dan harga diri (61,6%). Secara parsial, relasi interpersonal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap gaslighting (β = −0,303; p < 0,000) dengan aspek yang paling berpengaruh adalah, aspek harapan (β = -.276), demikian pula harga diri (β = −0,384; p < 0,000), di mana harga diri memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar. Secara simultan, kedua variabel bersama-sama berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap gaslighting (F = 94,342; p < 0,000) dengan kontribusi sebesar 32,3% (R² = 0,323. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik relasi interpersonal dan semakin tinggi harga diri mahasiswa, maka semakin rendah pengalaman gaslighting yang dialami.

University students are a group vulnerable to psychological manipulation in social relationships, one of which is gaslighting by peers. Gaslighting is a form of manipulation that causes the victim to doubt their own perceptions, memories, and sanity, thereby having a serious impact on mental health. This study aims to determine the levels of interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, and experiences of gaslighting, as well as the influence of interpersonal relationships and self-esteem on experiences of peer gaslighting among students at UIN Malang.
This study employs a quantitative approach using a multiple linear regression design. The sample consists of 398 active students at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) Malang. Data collection was conducted using three instruments: the Victim Gaslighting Questionnaire (VGQ), the Relationship Assessment Scale, and Rosenberg’s Self-esteem Scale. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression tests, partial tests (t-tests), and simultaneous tests (F-tests) with the assistance of SPSS.
The results of the study indicate that the majority of students fall into the moderate category for all three variables: gaslighting (70.4%), interpersonal relationships (61.3%), and self-esteem (61.6%). Partially, interpersonal relationships had a negative and significant effect on gaslighting (β = −0.303; p < 0.000), with the most influential aspect being expectations (β = −0.276); similarly, self-esteem (β = −0.384; p < 0.000) had a significant effect, with self-esteem having a greater influence. Simultaneously, both variables together had a negative and significant effect on gaslighting (F = 94.342; p < 0.000), contributing 32.3% (R² = 0.323). This indicates that the better the interpersonal relationships and the higher the students’ self-esteem, the lower the level of gaslighting experienced.

الطلاب هم فئة معرضة للتلاعب النفسي في العلاقات الاجتماعية، ومن بينها التلاعب النفسي من قبل الأقران. التلاعب النفسي هو شكل من أشكال التلاعب يجعل الضحية تشك في إدراكها وذاكرتها وسلامة عقلها، مما يؤثر بشكل خطير على صحتها النفسية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى العلاقات الشخصية، وتقدير الذات، وتجارب التلاعب النفسي، بالإضافة إلى تأثير العلاقات الشخصية وتقدير الذات على تجارب التلاعب النفسي من قبل الأقران لدى طلاب جامعة UIN مالانج.
تستخدم هذه الدراسة نهجًا كميًا بتصميم الانحدار الخطي المتعدد. وتضم عينة الدراسة 398 طالبًا نشطًا في جامعة UIN مالانج. تم جمع البيانات باستخدام ثلاثة أدوات، وهي مقياس استبيان ضحية التلاعب النفسي (VGQ)، ومقياس تقييم العلاقات، ومقياس روزنبرغ لتقدير الذات. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام اختبار الانحدار الخطي المتعدد، واختبار جزئي (اختبار t)، واختبار متزامن (اختبار F) بمساعدة برنامج SPSS.
أظهرت نتائج البحث أن غالبية الطلاب يقعون في الفئة المتوسطة في المتغيرات الثلاثة، وهي التلاعب النفسي (70,4٪)، والعلاقات الشخصية (61,3٪)، واحترام الذات (61,6٪). بشكل جزئي، كان للعلاقات الشخصية تأثير سلبي وهام على الغازلايتينغ (β = −0,303؛ p < 0,000) وكان الجانب الأكثر تأثيرًا هو جانب التوقعات (β = −0,276)، وكذلك التقدير الذاتي (β = −0,384؛ p < 0,000)، حيث كان للتقدير الذاتي تأثير أكبر. بشكل متزامن، كان للمتغيرين معًا تأثير سلبي وهام على التلاعب النفسي (F = 94,342؛ p < 0,000) بمساهمة بلغت 32,3% (R² = 0,323). وهذا يشير إلى أنه كلما كانت العلاقات الشخصية أفضل وارتفع تقدير الذات لدى الطلاب، انخفضت تجارب التلاعب النفسي التي يمرون بها.
