Abstract

INDONESIA:

Perpustakaan Umum Daerah Kota Batu memiliki fasilitas yang lengkap, namun pengunjung baru dan rombongan sekolah kerap mengalami kesulitan menemukan ruangan tertentu seperti ruang komputer dan ruang laktasi. Selain itu, keterbatasan akses geografis menjadi hambatan bagi masyarakat dari wilayah jauh yang ingin mengenal kondisi perpustakaan sebelum berkunjung. Media informasi yang tersedia saat ini, seperti denah statis dan papan petunjuk, belum mampu menjawab kebutuhan visualisasi yang komunikatif dan mudah diakses secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi Virtual Tour 3D berbasis web sebagai media visualisasi digital Perpustakaan Umum Daerah Kota Batu menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Pengembangan dilakukan melalui enam tahap: konsep, desain, pengumpulan material, pembuatan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Model 3D dibangun menggunakan Blender, sementara antarmuka aplikasi dikembangkan dengan framework Three.js. Hasil pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan Blackbox Testing terhadap 12 skenario menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 100%, yang berarti seluruh fitur aplikasi berjalan sesuai spesifikasi yang direncanakan. Evaluasi usabilitas menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dengan 16 responden menghasilkan skor rata-rata 77,18, yang berada pada kategori Grade B (Good) dan dikategorikan sebagai Acceptable berdasarkan standar penilaian SUS. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Virtual Tour 3D layak secara fungsional dan memiliki tingkat kemudahan penggunaan yang baik sebagai media visualisasi digital perpustakaan.

The Batu City Regional Public Library has complete facilities, but new visitors and school groups often have difficulty finding certain rooms such as
computer rooms and lactation rooms. In addition, limited geographical access is an obstacle for people from distant areas who want to get to know the condition of the library before visiting. The information media available today, such as static plans and signboards, have not been able to answer the need for visualizations that are communicative and easily accessible online. This research aims to design and build a web-based Virtual Tour 3D application as a digital visualization medium for the Batu City Regional Public Library using the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. Development is carried out through six stages: concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing, and distribution. The 3D model is built using Blender, while the application interface is developed with the Three.js framework. The results of
functionality testing using Blackbox Testing on 12 scenarios showed a 100% success rate, which means that all application features ran according to the planned specifications. The usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 16 respondents resulted in an average score of 77.18, which is in the Grade B (Good) category and categorized as Acceptable based on the SUS assessment standards. These results show that the Virtual Tour 3D application is functionally feasible and has a good level of ease of use as a digital visualization medium for libraries
