Prinsip Tabayyun dalam Cancel Culture di X: Analisis Double Movement Fazlur Rahman terhadap QS. Al-Ḥujurāt ayat 6

ABSTRAK

Penyebaran informasi yang masif dan tidak terkendali di era media sosial memunculkan fenomena cancel culture yang berpotensi merugikan individu dan merusak ekosistem informasi publik. Fenomena ini ditandai oleh kecepatan penyebaran informasi tanpa verifikasi yang memadai, sehingga menimbulkan dampak serius terhadap martabat, reputasi, dan kesejahteraan psikologis individu yang menjadi sasarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prinsip tabayyun dalam QS. Al-Ḥujurāt ayat 6 serta mengontekstualisasikannya terhadap praktik verifikasi informasi dalam fenomena cancel culture di platform X.
Metode yang digunakan adalah Double movement Fazlur Rahman, sebuah pendekatan hermeneutis yang bergerak secara dialektis antara konteks historis teks Al-Qur'an dan realitas kontemporer. Gerakan pertama menelusuri konteks mikro asbāb al-nuzūl dan konteks makro sosio-historis masyarakat Arab untuk mengekstraksi ideal moral universal. Gerakan kedua mengaktualisasikan prinsip-prinsip tersebut ke dalam persoalan kontemporer yang sedang dihadapi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa QS. Al-Ḥujurāt ayat 6 mengandung lima prinsip moral universal, yaitu prinsip epistemis kritis, perlindungan martabat manusia, tanggung jawab kolektif, konsekuensialisme moral, dan keseimbangan antara responsivitas dan kehati-hatian. Kelima prinsip tersebut relevan secara langsung dalam menjawab persoalan cancel culture yang kerap beroperasi tanpa verifikasi yang memadai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tabayyun merupakan kerangka etis Islam yang bersifat melampaui batas waktu dan aplikatif dalam konteks ekosistem informasi digital kontemporer, sekaligus menegaskan bahwa ajaran Al-Qur'an memiliki daya jawab yang komprehensif terhadap tantangan peradaban modern.

ABSTRACT

The massive and uncontrolled spread of information in the age of social media has given rise to the phenomenon of cancel culture, which has the potential to harm individuals and damage the public information ecosystem. This phenomenon is characterized by the rapid spread of unverified information, thereby causing serious harm to the dignity, reputation, and psychological well-being of the individuals targeted. This study aims to analyze the principle of tabayyun in Surah Al-Ḥujurāt verse 6 and contextualize it within the practice of information verification in the phenomenon of cancel culture on the X platform.
The method used is Fazlur Rahman’s Double movement, a hermeneutic approach that moves dialectically between the historical context of the Qur’anic text and contemporary reality. The first movement traces the micro-context of asbāb al-nuzūl and the macro-context of the socio-historical reality of Arab society to extract universal moral ideals. The second movement actualizes these principles into the contemporary issues currently being faced.
The results of this study indicate that Surah Al-Ḥujurāt, verse 6, contains five universal moral principles: critical epistemology, the protection of human dignity, collective responsibility, moral consequentialism, and the balance between responsiveness and prudence. These five principles are directly relevant to addressing the issue of cancel culture, which often operates without adequate verification. This study concludes that tabayyun is an Islamic ethical framework that transcends time and is applicable in the context of the contemporary digital information ecosystem, while also affirming that the teachings of the Qur'an provide a comprehensive response to the challenges of modern civilization.ا

أدى الانتشار الهائل وغير المنضبط للمعلومات في عصر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي إلى ظهور ظاهرة «ثقافة الإلغاء» التي تنطوي على مخاطر الإضرار بالأفراد وإتلاف النظام البيئي للمعلومات العامة. وتتميز هذه الظاهرة بسرعة انتشار المعلومات دون تحقق كافٍ، مما يؤدي إلى آثار خطيرة على كرامة وسمعة ورفاهية الأفراد الذين يستهدفهم هذا الانتشار. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل مبدأ التبيّن في سورة الحجرات الآية ٦ ووضعها في سياق ممارسات التحقق من المعلومات في ظاهرة ”ثقافة الإلغاء“ على منصة X.
المنهجية المستخدمة هي ”الحركة المزدوجة“ لفازل الرحمن، وهي نهج تفسيري يتحرك بشكل جدلي بين السياق التاريخي لنص القرآن والواقع المعاصر. يتتبع الحرك الأول السياق الجزئي لأسباب النزول والسياق الكلي الاجتماعي والتاريخي للمجتمع العربي لاستخلاص المثل الأخلاقية العالمية. أما الحرك الثاني فيطبق هذه المبادئ على القضايا المعاصرة التي نواجهها.
أظهرت نتائج البحث أن الآية السادسة من سورة الحجرات تتضمن خمسة مبادئ أخلاقية عالمية، وهي: المبدأ المعرفي النقدي، وحماية كرامة الإنسان، والمسؤولية الجماعية، والنزعة الأخلاقية النتيجية، والتوازن بين الاستجابة والحذر. وتعتبر هذه المبادئ الخمسة ذات صلة مباشرة بمعالجة مشكلة «ثقافة الإلغاء» التي غالبًا ما تمارس دون تحقق كافٍ. يخلص هذا البحث إلى أن التبيّن هو إطار أخلاقي إسلامي يتجاوز حدود الزمن وقابل للتطبيق في سياق النظام البيئي الرقمي المعاصر، كما يؤكد أن تعاليم القرآن الكريم تمتلك قدرة شاملة على الاستجابة لتحديات الحضارة الحديثة
