Meningkatnya kasus depresi, gangguan kecemasan, dan tekanan emosional pada remaja menunjukkan bahwa kesehatan mental menjadi isu yang semakin mendesak. Data Kementerian Kesehatan RI menunjukkan Kota Malang memiliki indeks gangguan jiwa tertinggi di Jawa Timur, sementara fasilitas rehabilitasi mental yang mampu menghadirkan suasana penyembuhan yang nyaman dan bebas stigma masih terbatas. Perancangan Soulscape Retreat: Youth Emotional Rehabilitation Center with Biophilic Architecture in Batu hadir sebagai pusat rehabilitasi mental remaja yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan arsitektur biofilik dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Konsep biofilik diterapkan melalui keterhubungan visual dan nonvisual dengan alam, pemanfaatan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami, penggunaan material alami, serta penyediaan healing garden dan horticultural garden sebagai media terapi. Selain mendukung pemulihan psikologis, perancangan ini juga menghadirkan ruang refleksi dan spiritual yang berlandaskan konsep syifa’ sebagai penyembuhan jiwa. Berlokasi di Kota Batu yang memiliki karakter pegunungan, udara sejuk, dan panorama alam yang mendukung proses healing, Soulscape Retreat diharapkan menjadi lingkungan rehabilitasi yang mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan emosional, spiritual, dan sosial remaja secara holistik.

The increasing prevalence of depression, anxiety disorders, and emotional stress among adolescents highlights mental health as an urgent issue. Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health indicate that Malang has the highest mental disorder index in East Java, while facilities that provide a comfortable and stigma-free healing environment remain limited. Soulscape Retreat: Youth Emotional Rehabilitation Center with Biophilic Architecture in Batu is proposed as a youth mental rehabilitation center that integrates biophilic architectural principles with Islamic values. The biophilic approach is implemented through visual and non-visual connections with nature, natural lighting and ventilation, the use of natural materials, and the provision of healing and horticultural gardens as therapeutic spaces. In addition to supporting psychological recovery, the design also accommodates reflection and spiritual activities based on the concept of syifa’ (healing). Located in Batu City, with its mountainous landscape, cool climate, and natural scenery, the project aims to create a restorative environment that promotes the emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of adolescents through a holistic healing experience.

تشير الزيادة المستمرة في حالات الاكتئاب واضطرابات القلق والضغوط النفسية لدى المراهقين إلى أن الصحة النفسية أصبحت قضية ملحة في الوقت الحاضر. وتُظهر بيانات وزارة الصحة الإندونيسية أن مدينة مالانغ تمتلك أعلى مؤشر للاضطرابات النفسية في مقاطعة جاوة الشرقية، في حين لا تزال مرافق إعادة التأهيل النفسي التي توفر بيئة علاجية مريحة وخالية من الوصمة محدودة. يأتي مشروع Soulscape Retreat: مركز إعادة التأهيل العاطفي للشباب بالعمارة البيوفيلية في مدينة باتو كاستجابة لهذه المشكلة من خلال دمج مبادئ العمارة البيوفيلية مع القيم الإسلامية. يتم تطبيق النهج البيوفيلي عبر تعزيز الارتباط البصري وغير البصري بالطبيعة، والاستفادة من الإضاءة والتهوية الطبيعية، واستخدام المواد الطبيعية، وتوفير حدائق علاجية وبستنة علاجية كوسائط داعمة للتعافي النفسي. كما يوفر المشروع مساحات للتأمل والأنشطة الروحية المستندة إلى مفهوم الشفاء (Syifa') في الإسلام. وبفضل موقعه في مدينة باتو ذات الطبيعة الجبلية والهواء المعتدل والمناظر الطبيعية الهادئة، يهدف المشروع إلى خلق بيئة علاجية متكاملة تسهم في تحسين الصحة النفسية والعاطفية والروحية والاجتماعية للمراهقين بصورة شاملة.
