Abstract

INDONESIA:

Budaya religius yang diterapkan di sekolah merupakan upaya untuk membentuk kebiasaan mulia peserta didik. Sebagaimana tujuan pendidikan nasional, peserta didik diupayakan mampu mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk mempunyai kekuatan spiritual keagamaan dan akhlak mulia. Sehingga strategi pengembangan budaya religius penting untuk diterapkan pada sekolah agar peserta didik mempunyai karakter mulia dan mampu menjadi penerus bangsa yang berjiwa islam. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bentuk program pengembangan budaya religius di SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 Jember, strategi pelaksanaan pengembangan budaya religius di SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 Jember dan bagaimana dampak pengembangan budaya religius terhadap karakter peserta didik SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 Jember. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan rancangan multikasus. Pengumpulan data didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian adalah guru PAI, guru BK dan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling dengan teknik snowball sampling. Pengecekan keabsahan data dimulai dengan menggunakan member check dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) bentuk program pengembangan budaya religius di SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 diantaranya: mengalokasikan satu jam pelajaran PAI di masjid, menyelenggarakan kegiatan keputrian, peringatan hari besar islam, doa bersama/istigotsah, sholat berjamaah, berjabat tangan, membaca asmaul husna, qiyamul lail dan pengajian keliling, (2) strategi pelaksanaan pengembangan budaya religius dilakukan melalui pemberian penjelasan, melibatkan organisasi kepesertadidikan, memberikan penguatan perilaku, melakukan kontrol penilaian, keteladanan dan penggunaan simbol-simbol, (3) dampak pengembangan budaya religius terhadap karakter siswa diantaranya: karakter disiplin, religius, rasa ingin tahu, jujur dan mandiri.

ENGLISH:

Religious culture that applied in schools is an attempt to shape learners noble habits. As the purpose of national education, students strived to develop his potential to have the spiritual power and noble character. So the strategy of religious culture development is important to be applied at school that students have noble character and are able to be the successor nation that Moslem minded. The focus of this study is how the program of religious culture development, the implementation of development religious culture strategies and how it impacts on students character at SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Jember. The study uses qualitative approach with case studies and draft multi case. The collection of data obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation study. The informer of research: are lecturer of Islamic education, lecturer of guidance and counseling and students. The research used purposive sampling with snowball sampling technique. Checking the validity of the data by using the member check and proceed with triangulation techniques. The result indicate that (1) the development of religious culture program in SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 include: allocate one hour of Islamic Education lesson at the mosque, conducting woman activity, reading asmaul husna, qiyamul lail and study at student’s house by turns. (2) the implementation of development religious culture strategies is done through the provision explanations, involving students organizations, provide reinforcement behavior, control assessment, modeling and the use of symbols, (3) the impact of religious culture development to student's character including: discipline, religious, curiosity, honest and independent character.
