Abstract
INDONESIA:
Diabetic retinopathy merupakan kerusakan pada mata penderita diabetes mellitus. Diabetic retinopathy yang tidak segera diatasi dapat menyebabkan kebutaan. Tugas akhir ini berpusat pada pengamatan struktur fitur retinopati pada mata. Algoritma yang dipilih adalah algoritma morfologi. Metode algoritma morfologi ini akan diimplementasikan terhadap citra fundus mata yang diduga mengalami diabetic retinopathy.
Algoritma morfologi adalah teori dan analisa struktur geometrik berdasarkan pada elemen struktur (pola atomik), sehingga morfologi citra merupakan proses identifikasi bentuk pada citra biner dan grayscale. Uji coba dilakukan dengan operator-operator morfologi dilasi, erosi, opening, dan closing. Elemen struktur yang digunakan yaitu garis horisontal dan vertikal, persegi, wajik, dan rhombus. Elemen-elemen struktur ini digunakan untuk perbandingan dalam uji coba. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa operator morfologi dan elemen struktur banyak berpengaruh sesuai intensitas cahaya dari area fitur retinopati pada citra.
ENGLISH:
Diabetic retinopathy is a damage occured in eyes of patients with diabetes mellitus. Diabetic retinopathy that not addressed early can lead to blindness. This final task centered on the observation of retinopathy features structures in eyes. The selected algorithm is an algorithm morphology. This morphology algorithm method will be implemented on eye fundus image that suspected of having diabetic retinopathy.
Morphology algorithm is a theory and geometric structure analysis based on structural elements (atomic pattern), so the image morphology is the process of identifying forms in binary and grayscale images. The test is done by dilation, erosion, opening, and closing morphological operators. The used structural elements are horizontal and vertical lines, squares, diamonds, and rhombus. These structural elements are used for comparison in the trial. Experimental results show that the morphology operators and structural elements have much effect that agree with light intensity of retinopathy features area in the image.
