Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat mindfulness, tingkat konsentrasi belajar, serta hubungan antara keduanya pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Fenomena peran ganda seringkali memicu tantangan manajemen waktu dan kelelahan yang berisiko menurunkan fokus akademik. Mindfulness hadir sebagai solusi potensial untuk menjaga kesadaran penuh mahasiswa di tengah tuntutan pekerjaan dan kuliah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional terhadap 126 mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala mindfulness dan skala konsentrasi belajar via Google Form, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji korelasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat mindfulness kategori sedang (69,8%) dan konsentrasi belajar kategori tinggi (64,3%). Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan namun lemah antara kedua variabel (r = 0,208; p = 0,019 < 0,05). Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan mindfulness berkontribusi pada peningkatan konsentrasi belajar, sehingga latihan kesadaran diri penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menjaga fokus akademik di tengah kesibukan kerja.
ENGLISH:
This study aims to determine the level of mindfulness, the level of learning concentration, and the relationship between the two in students who work part-time. The phenomenon of dual roles often triggers time management challenges and fatigue that risk reducing academic focus. Mindfulness presents itself as a potential solution to maintain students' full awareness amid the demands of work and college.
The research method used was quantitative correlational on 126 part-time working students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using mindfulness and learning concentration scales via Google Form, then statistically analyzed using correlation tests.
The results showed that the majority of respondents had moderate mindfulness levels (69.8%) and high learning concentration levels (64.3%). The correlation test showed a significant but weak positive relationship between the two variables (r =0.208; p = 0.019 < 0.05). This indicates that increased mindfulness contributes to increased learning concentration, so mindfulness practice is important for students to maintain academic focus amid work demands.
