تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل معاني كلمات أغنية "رحمة للعالمين" التي كتبها ماهر زين باستخدام منهج هرمنيوطيقا فيلهيلم ديلثي، الذي يركز على ثلاث مفاهيم رئيسية، وهي Erlebnis (تجربة الحياة)،Ausdruck (تعبير)، و Verstehen (فهم). تُفهم كلمات الأغنية كتعبير عن التجربة الروحية للكاتب التي تمثل القيم الكونية للرحمة التي جاء بها النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم. تستخدم هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الكيفي بتقنية دراسة المكتبة. البيانات الأولية تتكون من نص الكلمات، بينما البيانات الثانوية يتم الحصول عليها من الكتب، والمجلات، والمقابلات، والتوثيق المتعلق بخلفية حياة ماهر زين وكذلك نظرية هرمنيوطيقا ديلثي. تظهر نتائج الدراسة أنه، أولاً، في جانب Erlebnis، يعبر ماهر زين عن تجربته كمسلم مغترب يسعى لتعريف وجه الإسلام السلمي في ظل المجتمع العالمي. القيم الروحية التي يعيشها تتجلى في تصوير النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كمنبع للرحمة لجميع الكائنات. ثانياً، في جانب Ausdruck، تُجسد هذه التجربة من خلال استخدام اللغة الدينية، والرموز المعبرة عن الرحمة، وأسلوب اللغة الشعرية التي تُبرز دور النبي كشخصية نموذجية، ومصدر للسلام، وموحد للبشرية. ثالثاً، في جانب Verstehen تُنتج هذه الأغنية فهماً بأن رسالة الرحمة للعالمين ليست فقط ذات طابع لاهوتي، بل هي أيضاً عالمية، تدعو المستمعين للاقتداء بقيم الإنسانية، والتعاطف، والسلام في الحياة اليومية. وبالتالي، فإن أغنية "رحمة للعالمين" لا تعمل فقط كعمل فني، بل كوسيلة للدعوة تعبّر عن القيم الأخلاقية والروحية بأسلوب جمالي وذو صلة بالمجتمع العالمي.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the lyrics of the song “Rahmatan Lil Alameen” by Maher Zain using Wilhelm Dilthey’s Hermeneutic approach, which focuses on three main concepts, namely Erlebnis (life experience), Ausdruck (expression), and Verstehen (understanding). The lyrics of this song are understood as an expression of the composer’s spiritual experience that represents the universal compassion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method with library research techniques. The primary data consist of the song lyrics, while the secondary data are obtained from books, journals, interviews, and documentation relevant to the life background of Maher Zain and Dilthey’s hermeneutic theory. The results of the study show that, first, in the Erlebnis aspect, Maher Zain expresses his life experience as a Muslim diaspora who strives to introduce the peaceful image of Islam to the global community. The spiritual values he embodies are reflected in the portrayal of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a source of mercy for all creation. Second, in the Ausdruck aspect, these experiences are manifested through the use of religious diction, symbols of compassion, and poetic language that highlights the Prophet’s role as an exemplary figure, a bringer of peace, and a unifier of humankind. Third, in the Verstehen aspect, this song produces the understanding that the message of rahmatan lil alamin is not only theological but also universal, inviting listeners to emulate the values of humanity, empathy, and peace in everyday life. Thus, the song “Rahmatan Lil Alameen” functions not only as a work of art but also as a medium of da’wah that conveys moral and spiritual values in an aesthetic manner and remains relevant to the global society.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna lirik lagu “Rahmatan Lil Alameen” karya Maher Zain dengan menggunakan pendekatan Hermeneutika Wilhelm Dilthey yang berfokus pada tiga konsep utama, yaitu Erlebnis (pengalaman hidup), Ausdruck (ungkapan), dan Verstehen (pemahaman). Lirik lagu ini dipahami sebagai ekspresi pengalaman spiritual pencipta yang merepresentasikan nilai-nilai kasih sayang universal Nabi Muhammad SAW. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Data primer berupa teks lirik, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang relevan dengan latar kehidupan Maher Zain serta teori hermeneutika Dilthey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, pada aspek Erlebnis, Maher Zain mengekspresikan pengalaman hidupnya sebagai Muslim diaspora yang berupaya memperkenalkan wajah Islam yang damai di tengah masyarakat global. Nilai-nilai spiritual yang ia hayati tercermin dalam penggambaran Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai sumber rahmat bagi seluruh alam. Kedua, pada aspek Ausdruck, pengalaman tersebut diwujudkan melalui penggunaan diksi religius, simbol-simbol kasih sayang, serta gaya bahasa puitis yang menonjolkan peran Nabi sebagai figur teladan, pembawa kedamaian, dan pemersatu umat manusia. Ketiga, pada aspek Verstehen, lagu ini menghasilkan pemahaman bahwa pesan rahmatan lil alamin tidak hanya bersifat teologis, tetapi juga universal, mengajak pendengar meneladani nilai kemanusiaan, empati, dan kedamaian dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, lagu “Rahmatan Lil Alameen” tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai karya seni, tetapi juga sebagai media dakwah yang menyampaikan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual secara estetis serta relevan bagi masyarakat global.
