للعنصرية القدرة على الظهور في بيئات اجتماعية تعجّ بأعراق متنوعة. تُعد العنصرية قضيةً راهنةً في كل عصر، لأنها موجودة منذ زمن طويل ولا تزال تحدث حتى اليوم. يمكن أن تحدث أفعال العنصرية فرديًا أو من قِبل مؤسسات. وفقًا لويليام إدوارد بوغارت دو بوا، العنصرية هي اعتقادٌ بأن عرقًا ما يتمتع بمكانة أعلى من عرق آخر. قسّم دو بوا المواقف العنصرية إلى قسمين: الحجاب والوعي المزدوج. الحجاب حاجز بين الأعراق، والوعي المزدوج هو تأثير وجود الحجاب. سيتناول هذا البحث 1) ما هي أشكال العنصرية في مسلسل "جايبة العيد"، 2) كيفتصنيف أشكال العنصرية في مسلسل "جايبة العيد" بناءً على نظرية ويب دو بوا، 3) ما هي أسباب العنصرية في مسلسل "جايبة العيد". تعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج وصفي نوعي، وهو منهج يهدف إلى فهم الظواهر اللغوية في سياق التواصل اليومي، دون تأثير أو تغير المتغيرات. تُظهر العنصرية الواردة في مسلسل "جايبة العيد" لنورا أبو شوشة وعلي العطاس ما يلي: 1) إن الموقف العنصرية الذي ظهر في المسلسل "جايبة العيد" هو نوع من العنصرية الشخصية، حيث يقوم كل شخصية من العرق العربي (فرد) بارتكاب أفعال عنصرية ضد الشخصيات التي من العرق الباكستاني، والعكس صحيح، 2) تُصنف المواقف العنصرية في مسلسل "جايبة العيد" لنورا أبو شوشة وعلي العطاس إلى شكلين بناءً على منظور دبليو إي بي دو بوا، وهما الحجاب أو خط اللون، والازدواجية أو الشعور بالثنائية. الأفعال التي تنبع من افتراض الاستعلاء والشك وعدم الثقة قد تؤدي إلى مواقف عنصرية، 3) الأفعال العنصرية التي تظهر في مسلسل "تحطيم العيد" لنورا أبو شوشة وعلي العطاس سببها العدد الكبير من العمال المهاجرين من الطبقة الدنيا من آسيا، وخاصة باكستان والهند، الذين يعملون في منطقة الخليج.

ABSTRAK

Rasisme memiliki peluang untuk terjadi dalam lingkungan sosial yang diisi oleh beragam ras. Rasisme merupakan isu yang selalu relevan di setiap zaman karena rasisme telah terjadi sejak lama dan masih terjadi hingga saat ini. Tindak rasisme dapat terjadi secara perseorangan ataupun dari lembaga. Menurut William Edward Bughardt Du Bois, rasisme adalah sebuah keyakinan di mana sebuah ras memiliki kedudukan yang lebih tinggi dari ras lainnya. Du Bois membagi sikap rasisme menjadi 2, yaitu the veil dan kesadaran ganda. The veil merupakan selubung pembatas antar ras, dan kesadaran ganda adalah dampak dari keberadaan the veil. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji 1) Apa saja bentuk rasisme dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid”, 2) bagaimana pengklasifikasian bentuk rasisme dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid” berdasarkan teori WEB Du Bois, 3) apa penyebab tindak rasisme dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sebuah pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena linguistik dalam konteks komunikasi kehidupan sehari-hari, tanpa pengaruh atau perubahan variabel. Rasisme yang terdapat dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid” karya Nora Aboushousha dan Ali Alattas menunjukkan bahwa: 1 Sikap rasis yang ditampilkan dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid” merupakan jenis dari sikap personal racism, di mana tiap tokoh yang memiliki ras Arab (individu) melakukan tindak rasis pada tokoh yang memiliki ras Pakistan, dan begitu pula sebaliknya, 2) Sikap rasis dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid” karya Nora Aboushousha dan Ali Alattas diklasifikasikan menjadi 2 bentuk berdasarkan perspektif W. E. B. Du Bois, yaitu the veil atau color line dan double-consciousness atau twoness. Tindakan-tindakan yang berawal dari asumsi merendahkan, kecurigaan, dan tidak mempercayai dapat mengarah pada sikap rasis, 3) tindak rasis yang terjadi dalam serial TV “Crashing Eid” karya Nora Aboushousha dan Ali Alattas disebabkan banyaknya pekerja imigran kelas bawah yang berasal dari Asia, terutama Pakistan dan India yang bekerja di daerah teluk.

ABSTRACT

Racism has the potential to occur in a social environment filled with diverse races. Racism is an issue that is always relevant in every era because racism has existed for a long time and still occurs today. Acts of racism can occur individually or from institutions. According to William Edward Bughardt Du Bois, racism is a belief in which one race has a higher position than another race. Du Bois divides racist attitudes into 2, namely the veil and double consciousness. The veil is a veil that separates races, and double consciousness is the impact of the veil's existence. This study will examine 1) What are the forms of racism in the TV series "Crashing Eid", 2) how to classify the forms of racism in the TV series "Crashing Eid" based on W.E.B. Du Bois's theory, 3) what are the causes of racist acts in the TV series "Crashing Eid". This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, an approach that aims to understand linguistic phenomena in the context of everyday life communication, without the influence or change of variables. Racism in the TV series “Crashing Eid” by Nora Aboushousha and Ali Alattas shows that: 1. The racist attitude shown in the TV series “Crashing Eid” is a type of personal racism, where each character who has an Arab race (individual) commits racist acts against characters who have a Pakistani race, and vice versa, 2) The racist attitude in the TV series “Crashing Eid” by Nora Aboushousha and Ali Alattas is classified into 2 forms based on the perspective of W. E. B. Du Bois, namely the veil or color line and double-consciousness or twoness. Actions that start from the assumption of condescension, suspicion, and distrust can lead to racist attitudes, 3) the racist actions that occur in the TV series “Crashing Eid” by Nora Aboushousha and Ali Alattas are caused by the large number of lower-class immigrant workers from Asia, especially Pakistan and India who work in the gulf region.
