Redesign tampilan OPAC Sistem Otomasi Perpustakaan (SLiMS 9 Bulian) pada Perpustakaan Ulul Albab MIN 1 Blitar menggunakan metode prototype

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perpustakaan untuk memberikan layanan yang efektif dan efisien melalui sistem otomasi, salah satunya adalah SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan redesign tampilan Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) pada SLiMS 9 Bulian di Perpustakaan Ulul Albab MIN 1 Blitar agar lebih mudah digunakan oleh pengguna. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Prototype, yang meliputi tahapan communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, serta deployment delivery & feedback. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pustakawan dan kepala perpustakaan, dokumentasi, serta penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) kepada 28 responden. Nilai rata-rata SUS yang diperoleh sebesar 88,21 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Excellent” atau sangat baik. Desain baru juga dinilai lebih menarik secara visual dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna perpustakaan. Redesign tampilan OPAC menggunakan metode prototype dapat diterima dengan baik dan mudah digunakan oleh pengguna.

The development of information technology encourages libraries to provide effective and efficient services through automation systems, one of which is SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System). This study aims to redesign the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) display on SLiMS 9 Bulian at the Ulul Albab Library of MIN 1 Blitar to make it easier for users to use. The method used is the Prototype method, which includes the stages of communication, rapid planning, rapid design modeling, prototype construction, and delivery of implementation & feedback. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with librarians and heads of libraries, documentation, and distribution of questionnaires using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to 28 respondents. The average SUS value obtained was 88.21 which is included in the "Very Good" or very good category. The new design is also considered more visually attractive and in accordance with the needs of library users. Redesigning the OPAC display using the prototype method can be well received and easy to use by users.

تدفع تطورات تكنولوجيا المعلومات مكتبات إلى تقديم خدمات فعّالة وكفؤة من خلال أنظمة الأتمتة، ومن بين هذه الأنظمة نظام SLiMS (نظام سنايان لإدارة مكتبة). هدف هذا البحث إلى إعادة تصميم واجهة الكتالوج العام المتاح على الإنترنت (OPAC) في SLiMS 9 Bulian بمكتبة أولو الألبابفي المدرسة الإبتدائية الدينية الحكومية 1 بليتار لتكون أسهل في الاستخدام للمستفيدين. الطريقة المستخدمة هي طريقة النموذج الأولي (Prototype)، والتي تشمل مراحل التواصل، التخطيط السريع، نمذجة التصميم السريع، بناء النموذج الأولي، بالإضافة إلى مرحلة النشر والتسليم وجمع الملاحظات. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، المقابلات مع أمناء المكتبات ورئيس المكتبة، التوثيق، وتوزيع الاستبانة باستخدام طريقة مقياس قابلية استخدام النظام (SUS) على 28 مستجيبًا. وقد بلغ متوسط قيمة SUS 88.21 الذي يصنف ضمن فئة "ممتاز" أو جيد جدًا. كما تم تقييم التصميم الجديد على أنه أكثر جاذبية بصريًا ويتوافق مع احتياجات مستخدمي المكتبة. يمكن قبول إعادة تصميم واجهة OPAC باستخدام طريقة النموذج الأولي بسهولة وتكون سهلة الاستخدام للمستخدمين.
