Abstract
ABSTRAK:
Keamanan pesan merupakan aspek fundamental dalam sistem komunikasi digitalmodern. Penelitian ini mengkaji dan mengimplementasikan kombinasi algoritmaPaillier Cryptosystem yang bersifat homomorfik aditif dengan metode MatriksPermutasi guna meningkatkan kerahasiaan dan resistensi terhadap analisiskriptografi. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif melalui simulasi dalambahasa pemrograman Python. Pesan teks dikonversi ke kode ASCII; kemudiandienkripsi menggunakan algoritma Paillier; dan hasil ciphertext dipermutasimenggunakan matriks acak untuk meningkatkan kebingungan (confusion). Prosesdekripsi dilakukan dengan invers permutasi dan penguraian ciphertext menjadiplaintext semula. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi dua metode ini mampumeningkatkan tingkat keamanan pesan teks secara signifikan. Penelitian ini tidakhanya relevan secara teknis; tetapi juga mendukung nilai-nilai amanah danintegritas data sesuai prinsip syariah.
ABSTRACT:
Message security is a critical component of modern digital communication systems.This study implements a hybrid approach combining the Paillier Cryptosystem; anadditive homomorphic encryption method; with a Permutation Matrix technique toenhance the confidentiality and resistance of encrypted messages againstcryptanalysis. A descriptive qualitative methodology is employed; utilizing Pythonfor simulation and implementation. Plaintext messages are converted into ASCIIcodes; encrypted via the Paillier algorithm; and then rearranged using randomizedpermutation matrices to increase the complexity and confusion of the ciphertext.Decryption is carried out by applying the inverse of the permutation matrixfollowed by Paillier decryption to restore the original plaintext. The resultsdemonstrate that the integration of these two cryptographic techniques significantlyimproves message security. Furthermore; this study not only provides technicalcontributions to the field of cryptography but also reinforces ethical values of trustand data integrity consistent with Islamic principles
